Chapter 12
I'm still sleepy but I have to get up early. Today is Monday and it means, may pasok! Also, I'm a little excited! 
Today's the first day that Willow will come to school after her transformation last Friday. 
I grin imagining the students' reactions when they saw her. Kabahan ang mga mapang-api dahil ang inaapi ay... nagapapaapi pa rin? Her looks transformed but will the bullies stop? I hope so. I wish nothing but the best for Willow.
This is our last year in high school and I want it memorable for her. Sana lang talaga.
“Gising ka na ba, Bettina? Bumangon ka na at may pasok ka pa,” I heard from the walkie-talkie above my bedside table. 
Inabot ko ito, “Good morning po, Manang Sally. Kakagising ko lang po,” I said whining.
“Mabuti naman. Maligo ka na doon para hindi ka mahuli sa klase,” sabi niya. 
“Opo,” I answered and sleepily put back the walkie-talkie above my bedside table.
Nang matapos akong maligo ay nagbihis na agad ako. Bitbit ko ang bag na dinadala ko sa school pababa para diretso alis na ako pagkatapos mag-agahan.
Wala si Manang Sally sa kusina pero may nakahandanda nang pagkain sa mesa. 
“Morning, Lav,” a voice comes from Atticus. 
Nakakunot noo kong sinundan kung saan galing ang boses. I smiled when I saw him coming into the kitchen. Kaya pala wala si Manang.
“Morning! Kain tayo, Atti,” I invited him to eat with me. 
“'Yan talaga ang sadya ko, Lav. 'Buti naabutan kitang nag-agahan!” he happily said as sat down in the chair beside mine.
Nginiwian ko siya at hindi na nagsalita. Tumayo ako at kumuha ng plato niya. Ngisi-ngisi lang siya na tinitingnan akong pinagsilbihan siya, simple ko siyang inirapan pero hindi pa rin nabubura ang ngisi niya sa labi.
“Pangit,” I said in annoyance. 
Alam na alam niya talaga kung paano ako bwesitin.
He smiled playfully at me, “Ganda ka?” 
“Ha?” I asked in a monotone.
“Halabyo!” he said still smirking.
“Ha? Hagok,” I responded. 
His smirk vanish in an instant, it was replaced with confusement kaya napatawa ako.
“H-hagok? What does it mean, Lavinia?” he asked with a creased forehead.
“Are you cursing me using whatever language is that?” He asked.
“Secret para bibo,” I said smiling in victory. 
Kumain na ako at hindi na siya pinapansin. Ma-curious ka d'yan. 
Honestly, I don't know what hagok means. I just heard that from Ate Yala, I find it cute and unique kaya nakigaya ako. 
Hanggang sa matapos kami kumain ay kinukulit pa rin ako ni Atticus, nakalabas nalang kami ng bahay ay kinukulit niya pa rin ako. I only smile sweetly at him in response. His expression is so satisfying.
Sandali lang kaming naghintay at dumating din ang sasakyan ni Willow. Busangot na binuksan ni Atticus ang pinto ng sasakyan pero matamis ko lang siyang binigyan ng ngiti kaya masungit niya akong tinignan.
“Morning, Willow!" I greeted Willow as soon as the door opens.
“Morning, Lav and Atti,” she greeted.
