Chapter 28
After a week of being busy with our school requirements and exam, we are complete at the table to eat our breakfast.
We are all studying in the same school at TP University. The school is too wide that we won't see each other at school because we have different departments.
Pero may same vacant time ay nagkikita naman kami, minsan tumatambay sa canteen or library.
Nagkikita-kita rin naman kami sa bahay pero nagbabatian lang kasi we have different schedules and times in our classes. Na-miss ko tuloy makipag-asaran sa kanila.
We're all free, although I'm not sure about the boys, I heard internship na nila.
"This week was been hard for us, we should celebrate," Zhyne suggested.
Sang-ayon ako. We deserve a break after the academic battle.
You don't have to worry, that's normal," tawa pa ni Caspian.
"Kuya, oh.
"Cheer up, Chen. Truth hurts," Charles simply replied that made Caspiam burst into waves of laughter.
I stayed silent.
"How about we go to The Escape tonight, I missed performing," Paul suggested.
They only visit the bar often, they have a trusted person to handle it kasi. She is a woman, she usually comes here pag may importanteng sasabihin.
I'm sure that he's referring to the liquors that Gretchen will consume.
"Uhm, can we do the recording later? I mean I will perform with you all on the stage if it's alright-"
"Of courseee! You'll perform with the boys and I will record it! That's final," Gretchen shift her mood as soon as she heard what I said. She even smiled at me happily.
I really love music but I didn't pursue it because I thought it was just a temporary hobby that I'm curious about. However, when I spend time with them, I also learn to love music.
I wanna perform too, I wanna try.
"Let's practice in the music room at 10, bring your composed songs, Lavinia," Zhyne declared.
"Also, Caspian and Gretchen will wash the dishes," sabi ulit ni Zhyne.
I sweetly smiled at them and wave my hand to annoy them more. I saw how Caspian frowned.
I never thought that my love for music will deepen. It comes to the point that I wanna share my songs too. I'm starting to get curious about how it feels to stand in the middle of the stage, surrounded by people listening to my melody.
"Is that the song we are going to play later?" tanong ni Paul at umupo sa tabi ko. We are sitting on the long sofa.
"Oo, I'm in the last stanza already. But in creating a tone, the hardest is the first stanza and how to end."
