JAXON POV

I corner my friends into a room, separated from the others dancing in the ballroom. I told them I wanted a quick word with Matteo but of course Vince had to tag along...

I left my girl in the good hands of Jo hopefully not getting fuckin drunk off their arses...

My father told me after their speech that they would be announcing Josie's surprise so I gotta hurry this conversation up.

"What's up boss?" Matteo speaks up, placing his hands in the pockets of his navy blue blazer. Vince leans against the door listening in, eyes on me.

"Anything you gotta tell me soldier?" The look in his eyes when I call him soldier. I never usually call the men I'm close to solider but now he knows it's serious and I'm not joking around. 

I'm actually quite pissed.

"Not that I know of boss." He says standing up a little straighter. Vince's eyes burn into my cheek, I know he's staring.

"Something perhaps to do with Blaire?" I say coldly whilst loosing my tie.

The colour washes from his face and he goes pale. Yeh he knows what I'm on about.

He stares at me with regret shining so bright in his dull green eyes.

"It was an accident boss." He says turning to look away from my stare, too intimidated.

Sighing I move a little closer to him and Vince stands up, prepared to stop anything I might start.

"I want to hear you say it soldier." My death stare meets his eyes when he turns his blonde hair back to me.

He looks behind me towards Matteo and his eyes soften. 

"I'm sorry Boss, I slapped yo-"

"Sir we have a problem." One of my security guards says interrupting us and barging into the room.

I'm immediately on high alert when those words come out of his mouth, especially after the last ball we all attended. 

I swear to fuck if Gio shows his face, I won't hesitate to rip it from his neck and leave him hanging.

"We are not done with this conversation!" I spit storming out the room, both of them on my tail.

BLAIRE'S POV

"Did you just see that?" I ask a drunken Jo whilst staring at the back of Liliana's blonde hair as she talks to some guy, whom I don't recognise.

She slurs and mumbles something when trying to get off her stool. She immediately falls and I only just about catch her so she doesn't hit her goddamn head.

"Alright, enough drinks for you." I say whilst helping her too her feet. 

She is still slurring and falling over, even as I hold her. I decide to walk her to the bathroom so she can wash her face.

We both stumble and fall over the large bodies dancing and drinking, I have to apologize to every one of them.

God this must look awful for the Valentine family, seeing their daughter drunk on her ass like this. I smirk at the thought of embarrassing Xander...
