She was still plummeting out of the helicopter, her dress is heavy therefore she was falling faster. Her screams, ear piercing loud.

Vince was watching the elevator door for anyone coming and he was watching that betraying cunt Liliana.

Her body falls to the side of the building and in a second, I'm over the edge catching her hand in mine. Her body slams into the side of the skyscraper. 

She is literally hanging on by my hand, if I let go, she's dead.

"Jaxon. Please. Don't. Let. Go." She pleads while tears start rolling down her face, ruining her mascara.

She looks up to me. I can feel my face turning red from all the blood rushing to my head. Half of my body is hanging over this building. 

Gio is still flying above us. He has no clue what is going on. Cunt.

"I got you love, don't worry." I reply biting my bottom lip and using the one arm she's clinging on to and putting all my strength in to lifting her up.

I raise her onto the platform we are stood on and she falls on my body. 

We lie like this for a couple seconds whilst she controls her crying and I catch my breath letting all the blood flow normally again.

"Thank you Jax." She whispers into my neck. I grab her face with both of my hands and wipe the wet mascara streaming down her cheeks off. Her eyes are all red and puffy, her cheeks are slightly tinted black from the makeup and stained from her tears.

"You're not dying on my watch, remember?" I say smiling. She laughs. Damn I missed that laugh.

We both get up but keep crouched from the helicopter and walk back inside the elevator. Vince carries Lili over his shoulder.

Once inside, Blaire hugs me tightly around the waist. Vince just keeps his eyes on the door and on of his arm slung around Lili's body to keep her still.

I hug Blaire back and stroke her hair. I let her be her for a couple seconds but then she snaps back to her 'normal' if you will, once the doors ping open.

The shooting has stopped and there are bodies everywhere covered in black duffle bags. My father is talking to a police officer and there is an ambulance crew carrying the people still alive out. WHERE'S MATTEO?

Vince walks out and tells me he is taking Liliana to his car.

Blaire grabs hold of my hand and starts messing with my fingers. Snapping me out of my thoughts.

 I smile, she does this when she is nervous. Does she know what happened to her mom? I should tell her right?

"Blaire, your mo-"

"I know." she cuts me off. She doesn't look at me, she looks over at her moms body being wrapped up in a black tarp.

She doesn't cry. I think she is tired of crying. She may be losing her soul a little, being around me, that tends to happen...

We just stand here, outside the elevator watching the world go by. Blaire still messing with my hand and me letting her.

My mother and father spot me standing next to Blaire. My father notices her playing with my hand so I quickly snatch it back. Blaire scoffs and looks at me confusedly out the corner of my eye.
