Hii! Happy Chinese New Year for everyone who's celebrating! Anyway, here an oneshot for you >w< It's a full fluff... I think. It can also be seen as hurt/comfort though. Hope you enjoy!!!

"Congratulations, Ran!"

"Thank you, Shinichi!"

Ran, his childhood friend who was now called Hondou Ran, grinned brightly at Shinichi as usual. Shinichi let out a light chuckle when Ran excused herself to go to her husband's side. Seeing how happy and free the girl he had known for years was now, made him so happy... so happy that she had finally found her own happiness.

Turning his attention to his lover afterwards, Shinichi frowned a bit. Kaito was looking a little bit tense and... sad. He wondered why.

"Kaito? What's wrong?"

Kaito startled at that and just waved his hands.

"It's nothing."

Shinichi looked at his eyes for a moment before sighing. He really wanted to know the reason why his magician looked so... lost. But, he knew better than to pry further when it came to Kaito. Instead, he took his strong hand and wrapped it with his own before giving it a squeeze.

"Tell me once you're ready."

Blushing when Kaito gave him a grateful smile that conveyed so much love, Shinichi turned his face away from the man in front of him.

After removing his clothes, Shinichi sat down on the couch and waited for Kaito to finish showering.

Kaito was less cheerful than usual, and of course Shinichi was worried about that. He had let the matter go during Ran's wedding, but he didn't want Kaito to stay like that any longer! So he thought about how he could get the other to spill out what was bothering him.

"Kaito."

"Hm?"

Shinichi called him as Kaito entered the living room, and Shinichi patted the space next to him. Knowing what Shinichi meant, Kaito walked up to him and sat next to him on the couch.

"What is it?"

Hearing his lover's concern, despite him smiling, Shinichi smiled as well before slowly taking Kaito's head and letting him lay it on his lap. Kaito turned to face Shinichi and blinked. Shinichi felt himself smile softer at the attics.

"I'm the one who should ask that. What's been on your mind? You know there's nothing you can hide from me using that stupid poker face, right?"

Shinichi played with Kaito's hair while watching the other's smile disappear. Kaito's tense body started to relax and Shinichi just waited for Kaito to reply.

"It's stupid."

"But I still want to hear it", Shinichi said firmly and Kaito turned his face away from his eyes. The magician released a tired sigh after a moment.

"When... I saw Ran-chan with Hondou, I couldn't help but imagine the one on the aisle with her... being you."

Shinichi hummed, signing the other to continue. To be honest, he wanted to argue about it, but Shinichi wanted to hear everything inside Kaito's head. So, he closed his eyes and kept listening while his hands were still playing with Kaito's hair.

"I mean, what if I was never KID and you were never Conan? We... might not be where we are right now. Maybe... you'll be happy with Ran-chan like how everyone expected you to be and I'll be with... Aoko or alone probably,-"

Shinichi felt a hand on his cheek. He opened his eyes and met a pair of sad indigo eyes.

"-right?"

Kaito caressed his cheek and scoffed lightly.

"I told you. It's stupid."

He smiled sadly at him and Shinichi placed his hand on top of the hand that was caressing his cheek.

"Well, it's really stupid."

Shinichi looked at the window when he saw that Kaito was confused by his answer, and thought for a while about how to tell his lover about his... feelings. He licked his lips and stared down at the person who had owned his heart for years.

"Because even though we're not them, I believe we would have met eventually. Who knows? Maybe we would have met as enemies and then become rivals, like we were. Then slowly we would have become friends and finally we would have.... fallen in love with each other. Time would pass, you or I would ask for a date, and in the end we would be together like we are right now. That's why what you just thought was stupid."

Shinichi felt himself blush, but he ignored it. After all, Kaito blinked at him before blushing too.

"You... Did you learn that from the romance book I recommended yesterday?", Kaito asked with a stupid grin on his face and Shinichi huffed before closing his eyes.

"No, I learned that from a certain phantom thief. 'It seems like we are destined to be together', right?"

Shinichi opened his right eye and smiled when Kaito's lips started to quiver.

"That's why, no matter who we are, we would always find each other and end up together."

Shinichi let out a yelp when Kaito pushed him back a bit and tickled his stomach with his face.

"Wait! Kaito! Ahahahah! Sto-"

"It can't be helped. Shinichi being so sweet is so rare and it makes me so happy to hear that."

Kaito continued to tickle him and Shinichi just laughed. Once Kaito was done, Shinichi gasped for air and stared at Kaito who was on top of him. Kaito was staring at him with so much love. Shinichi knew he had been receiving that stare a lot, but no matter what, he could never stop himself from feeling flustered because of it.

"What did I do to deserve you?"

"Probably running around stealing jewels."

"I love you", Kaito said softly after laughing at the joke and Shinichi wrapped his arms around Kaito's neck, when Kaito moved his head down to Shinichi.

"I love you too", Shinichi whispered before they shared a long kiss.

There we go. Sooo just want to tell all of you that this is my last oneshot... KIDDINGGG i'll take a break from writing until march since my big exam is starting next week monday until 13th march hehe. So umm I'm sorry but to make it up, I'll repost Our Love Story here! Using different book though. Starting next week I think. Sooo I'm sorry again and thank you for everything.
