The following morning, I was dressed and met with Sky in the hallway when we noticed Lina looking at her mother's cheer shelf.
"Looking for us?" I asked seeing Catalina in front of Sky's mother's trophy case. She pointed at a photo and then redirected her finger to point at another that had the three of us in it when we were younger.
"Is this you two and your mom?" Lina questioned curiously.
I shook my head in response watching her scrunch her face in confusion at the action. "Godmother for me actually." I corrected as she apologized and mentioned that she forgot.
"She must have been an amazing cheerleader." She whispered as she stared at the items in the case.
Lina went to touch one of the items, making my eyes widen just as Sky jumped to refrain her from doing so. Sky felt as if all items in the case were so fragile and personal, which they were so it was understandable as to why she didn't want anyone to touch them.
"Don't! I really don't like people touching her stuff." Sky exclaimed as she looked at Lina in moment of panic. It was true, even though most of the memories involved me as well in said case, I hadn't been allowed to touch it according to Sky until a few months ago.
Lina glanced at her seemingly as if she had been genuinely apologetic, "Sorry."
Sky nodded, "It's fine. Here." She closed the case before turning around in front of Lina and plastering a small smile on her face. "Come on. You do not want to be late to your first day of school."
"I don't think that she even wants to go Sky." I laughed as Sky grabbed one of my hands to pull me along and used her other free hand to pull Lina who smirked at my statement.
