"Don't you dare say a word!" I sternly instructed walking towards Joshua who started to laugh as he glanced at the outfit I had on. Sky picked out the outfit I had on this time and I liked it but it was out of my comfort zone so whenever someone looked at it, I assumed that I was going to be made fun.
He smiled before shaking his head as he put his hands up in surrender when he noticed my firm stare directed at him before he slowly started to respond, "If it makes you feel better, I for one think it's actually cute. I'm just not used to seeing you in something like this. What brought this on mi vida?"
"Sky." I said simply before shrugging noticing that he nodded with a hum as he took in the realization of what had happened. "You know she's been attempting to dress me for awhile and she caught me off guard this morning."
"I should've realized. You told me last night on the phone that she kept pestering you..." Joshua responded as I waved him mentioning that it was fine that he didn't remember since it was late when we were talking so I wasn't going to be surprised if he forgot most of the conversation.
I walked over to him and grabbed a hold of the hair dye that sat on his bed, "It's okay love. But, are you sure that you want to do this, there's not much to go back to if this gets messed up." Victor was out with Gloria since she wanted to be taken out on a date and his parents weren't home so we used this opportunity to have him due his hair as he's been wanting to for the past few days.
"I trust you Vane, I'm sure," He stated with a grin as he pecked my lips. Joshua wanted to have a few strands blonde because he wanted to match with some libero character that's connected to a manga that he's started to like if I'm not mistaken. I would've remembered the name but at the moment, my mind could only focus on his arms as he sat across from my eyesight and as he wore a well fitted tank top. Although, back to the concept at hand, I just hoped that he wouldn't change his mind right now because he tended to do that a lot whenever he tried to do a few new things. It was almost like a switch that when off in his mind randomly and I didn't mind it but I didn't want him to regret it.
I started to add bleach into the few strands in his hair letting it sit there for a half hour as we listened to music for the time being before helping him wash it out when I noticed that he had been struggling to do so on his own. I wasn't sure if he was pretending to struggle after seeing him smile but I'm just going to assume that he actually struggled.
"Okay, I'm going to add the color now," I announced before looking at him carefully as he stared at me with a fond smile, "Now Josh... are you still absolutely sure about this color and that's it something that you want to do?"
He laughed and nodded but noticed me waiting for a verbal response causing him to grab a hold onto one of my free hands as he pressed a kiss to the back of it. "Yes mi amor," He said as he tried to reassure me which actually helped me feel more comfortable with his choice that was at hand.
"Alright, let's add the blonde then!" I cheered as I helped paint the strands with the blonde dye as he laughed at my actions.
I was excited, I know that I mentioned that I hoped he wouldn't change his mind but it was because he tended to go through a phase where he enjoyed something and would purchase something correlated to it and then would change his mind because of some other phase that's he in. But, like I said, I was excited because I've always wanted to dye someone's hair, since Sky's the only person that's ever let me but Henry stopped us because it started to damage her hair after so many times.
We waited for the correct time before I could wash the hair color out and the time consisted of us listening to music but more of me trying to mess with him repeatedly as he would attempt to stop me from messing up his hair laughing as we continued. Looking at the time, I directed Joshua to follow after me so we could wash it out.
Once that was done, we waited for it to dry before I clapped in happiness when I helped him adjust his hair so the two strands could be in the front. "They look good!" I complimented as he looked at me with a grin.
We walked to the bathroom mirror together as I watched him stare at himself before he let a hand reach up so he could feel it. He let a small grin start to show over his features as he started to talk, "Wow Vane... This looks great!"
I started to smile before I narrowed my eyes unsure if he was serious because I wanted to be absolutely sure over his reaction, "Wait really?! Or are you being sarcastic?"
"No mi amor, I actually do like it..." He responded as I nodded now sure letting a smile show. He pulled me into a hug before pressing a kiss onto my lips, "I love it so thank you."
He looked so happy with the results and I was glad. I loved seeing Joshua with a prominent expression of happiness over his features because he deserved it and much more in the world.
