"Please tell me that you're still actually coming to the dance?" I questioned Joshua through the phone as I heard him hum in faux confusion. "You know what? I shouldn't even be begging you right now, doofus."
Loud laughter was heard making me furrow my brows at the difference in voice before I heard shuffling in the background, "Damn Victor move! Yes I'm still going chica hermosa no need to get so hostile. Save me a dance?"
"Of course. I wasn't planning on dancing with anyone else but if I did then don't take it to heart," I responded quickly causing him to laugh softly. Hearing a knock on my door made me turn to see Lina holding Sky's arm as she gestured for me to come with them.
Lina smiled, "Come on Vane! We have to help Sky fix this because you know that it's not what we're going for!"
Giggling, I bid a goodbye to Joshua before following the two as we made our way to Isabel who started to get to work on Sky's dress as Lina and I quickly changed into our outfits as well. We helped turn her dress into a strapless tight fitted dress which accentuated her figure more and I'm glad that she seemed to like it as she gazed at herself in the mirror.
"I look like..."
"Your mom. I noticed that, too." I said cutting her off as she smiled with a small laugh. Lina stood up from her position on the bed to take off the last hair roller that was in her hair.
"It's so curly!" Sky giggled shyly as Lina admitted that she looked cute and she shouldn't worry about anything.
"Wait! I almost forgot!" Sky told Lina as she turned to her mother's dresser. She took out her mom's cheer necklace and held it out towards Lina, "Here. I want you to have this. My mom's team gave it to her. She was a really good captain too, just like you."
