"It's our one year anniversary Joshua..." I complained over the phone as I stopped getting ready. "What do you mean we won't be able to do anything?"

Small amounts of laughter was heard as I rolled my eyes at him. "I'm kidding mi vida," Joshua started as I sighed in relief while he continued to talk through the phone, "I'll be picking you up in less than thirty."

Since I was already done and dressed, I decided to head into Sky's room since Lina was out with Evan. I knocked on her door before entering when I heard her mention that I could come in now.

"Hi sister from another mister..." I greeted teasingly as she narrowed her eyes at me with a smile placing itself on her face.

Sky shook her head and ran a hand over her face, "Don't tell me that Victor's got you saying that now. He tried to continuously greet me like that towards some people in East L.A. and I was mortified so please tell me that he didn't convince you."

"Okay... Victor did not convince me," I repeated as she groaned as she fell back onto her bed that she had been sitting on letting papers from her assignments fly all around her. I laughed before shaking my head, "He didn't but I was there for some of the times when he greeted you in that matter so I thought it'd be hilarious since it's true."

Sky sighed as she started to sit back up, "Please tell me that James didn't see when he did that the one time Lina brought the team here to Malibu?" I shrugged as she seemed to start to panic as I looked at her confused. "I had fell after trying to move away from Victor."

"Wait, why do you care if James saw?" I asked as she looked at me with a specific look. My eyes widened for a moment as I started to laugh when I realized that she liked James. "Awe! You like James!" I cooed as she rolled her eyes at the reaction that I seemed to have.

Sky waved the reaction off, "Did he see?"

"No I don't think so sweets," I responded with a smile as I crossed my arms over my chest after thinking over the situation. Only people that were around aside from our team were the Jaguars, Evan, Victor, Joshua and Arthur who wanted to visit and talk to Melinda.

I noticed that a vibration had been felt from the phone in the palm of my hand and saw that Joshua had texted that he was here. Sky gestured for me to go with a grin as I pointed at her, "I'm leaving but we are so talking about this tomorrow! I'm going to get you two together. I swear it Sky!" She laughed as I walked out and headed downstairs.

I walked outside and kissed Joshua on the cheek after he greeted me and complimented the outfit I had on, accepting his help into the car. He drove for almost an hour as we continued to make conversation, talking about anything and everything before we finally made it to our destination which appeared to be a flower field from what I noticed ahead.

It was all seriously magnificent, starting with the scenery, as it had been filled with various views of the multiple colors. Joshua went to the trunk of his car before setting down a blanket and walking back to get something else that he needed.

He came back with a basket that had been filled with various amounts of snacks and drinks in it for the both of us.

I watched as he set it all up before he walked towards me and took a hold of my hand so I could follow his lead and take a seat on the blanket that was laid down with the basket in front of us.

We had an extremely beautiful view of the open field with such colorful flowers all around us. I let my head lean against his shoulder as he let his arm wrap around my shoulder as well leaning his head above mine. Moments like this felt so freeing and spectacular as we were away from the worries that probably awaited us at home or at school. It was only the two of us, which was all we needed at the moment right now.

Joshua opened the basket and I looked into as I noticed that he brought a few chocolate covered strawberries, small cake, a small plate of banana pudding, sandwiches and a few daffodils that he took out and handed to me.

"Mine?" I questioned softly as I took the flowers and held them closer with a gentle grasp so that they wouldn't mess up.

He pressed a kiss to my lips as he smiled in response, proceeding to caress my cheek carefully, "Of course mi amor."

I smiled as we continued to eat and drink what had been placed in the basket, with me refusing to share the banana pudding as he tried to fight with me over it.

I ran off making sure that it didn't spill as I tried to eat some of it but couldn't as I continued to run, "Let me be Joshua!"

"I want some!" He exclaimed as he chased after me, laughing as I almost tripped. I threw the spoon at him causing him to think it was the banana pudding and once he realized it wasn't he followed after me once more.

I hid behind a tree believing that he hadn't seen me until I felt arms around my waist causing me to drop the dessert. "Oh damn it!"

"It's okay..." Joshua reassured laughing as he pulled me closer with a grin etched onto his features, "I caught you though didn't I?"

I forgot about the banana pudding and let my arms fall over his shoulders as I placed them behind his neck, "That you did." I kissed him as we continued our date in a peaceful bliss.
