"Hey!" he ran up the stairs behind her.
"Look...." she stopped in front of a screen. "Look at what would happen to Manhattan if there was a tornado..." she said pointing up at the screen.
"Huh..." he answered a bit shocked by the destruction the exhibit showed on the screen. He reached around her pressing a button in the front to listen to what the interactive exhibit had to say.
"Yeah. It's crazy..." she said touching the screen. "I've seen this one like five times and it still amazes me...." she told him taking his hand leading him to another screen feeling him trailing behind her.
"It's cooler than I thought...." he said to her. "Like I was thinking it was going to be boring like Ross.."
"Ugh...then why did you plan this?" she asked him.
"Because you said it was your idea of a perfect date...." he said glancing over at the other side of the room.
"Well..." she paused following him to the other side. "I don't think my idea of a perfect date would be one where the guy isn't as excited about extreme weather as I am...."
"I am." he half smiled. "It's exhilarating. Let's go look at that Tiny Giants thing..." he responded heading down the stairs to get to the next exhibit.
"You're not excited about it." she stopped him at the stairs. "You didn't need to blow me away, Bruno...." she hesitantly smiled. "Dating isn't magic. It takes time."
"I've always just jumped into relationships...." he admitted. "Like...Bella and Charlotte and even high school...like it was always just a thing..."
"The only relationship I have jumped into is the one I have with coconut milk ice cream." Lola told him trying not to laugh at him. "Don't be nervous..." she reached for his hand. "Come on. Let's go somewhere fun."
"Like where?" he asked her. "I mean... I don't usually do this kind of stuff..."
"Oh Brunnnooo." she finally laughed hugging him playfully. "Bowlmor. That's where we're going. Come on. We don't need your fancy car..."
"Really?" he asked.
"Well they were going to come and get us later anyway?" she asked. "We'll be back here for them to take us home." she smiled. "Promise."
"I don't know if I trust you...." he winked at her heading down the stairs.
"I think you can." she winked back not letting go of his hand. "Just let me take you to one of the most fun places in the city...."
"But people will recognize me...and it will be so hard..." he worried.
"You have your hat. Just hide your hair." she said pushing his hat down. "It will work. I will make some calls while we're on the way there..." she said leading him to the subway to get to their next destination. He watched her text feverishly to figure everything out. "Okay." she looked over at him about ten minutes into their ride. "We're going in the back. You keep your hat on and take off your sunglasses because that's too obvious that you think you're cool. And there's a couple managers that know you're coming. They'll keep the crowd to a minimum but like laser tag against one person would suck. So be creative when you pick a name..."
"Laser tag?" he asked.
"Yes." she smiled.
"Hmmm." he nodded his head. "Just watch out." he smiled as they got off the subway. She casually, but knowedglably led him toward the back of the building to get into the location.
"Jason!" she yelled seeing someone in a bright yellow shirt waiting by the door.
"Hey girl!" he exclaimed. "And this is the one that we're smuggling in?" he asked.
