Owwwww. Lola moaned at about six in the morning feeling Bruno's arms draped around Lola's waist. I don't need to go to work today...he's here for me right now....she thought to herself hearing her roommates getting ready for work.

"Lo...." she heard Bruno's half awake voice. "Are you awake?"

"Yeah." she mumbled and whispered at the same time.

"Let's go get breakfast...." he said continuing to run his fingers along her arms making her tingle. He's never done this before....she started worrying.

"What did you do last night?" she asked rolling over to see his eyes squinting at her in the light sun that was peeking through her blinds.

"We wrote a little. Talked a little. Drank a little. That was it. The usual..." he said making a confused face. "Why?"

"No reason." she shrugged still concerned. As she finished her statement she felt his fingers intertwine with hers. I mean....not that I don't like it...

"I don't want to get up yet..." she told him still feeling twinges of pains in her abdomen. "I don't know if I feel well enough to go yet..."

"That's okay, boo." he said kissing the top of her head.

Later in the morning, Lola stretched out on the couch with her laptop on her legs with Bruno sitting on her side with a handful of things. Just being in his presence made her happy. Sick or not, she had him with her for another day. She sat looking at her laptop typing story ideas for her next week at work. All of them surrounded relationships and doubt. I just don't know....Through her anxious musings she felt Bruno reach his hand over to her feet making her laugh from the slight tickle it caused. "I like it when you're with me." she said to him.

"I like it when I'm with you too." he smiled at her putting down the script he was reading. "I don't know if I can finish this..." he said to her.

"When do you have to be done with it?" she asked him.

"Tonight...well...tomorrow by 4..." he told her.

"You have time. Take a break.." she smiled reaching for one of the many remotes. "What should we watch?" she asked putting down her computer after saving her work. She moved her body around to lay her head on his shoulder.

"Are you getting sentimental because I'm leaving, Lo?" he asked her with a laugh while scrolling through the shows that were on her to watch list.

"I might be." she suddenly shut down forgetting their conversation from the night before. Shit. He's going to bring it up again...

"I'm not going to tell you to tell you that if we lived together you wouldn't have to feel that way....." he said moving his fingers through her hair trying to calm down the anxiety he knew she was feeling.

"Why not?" she asked.

"Because of what we talked about last night." he explained the conversation they had and that she asked him to remind her of what they talked about the next day.

"Oh. I guess that makes sense. Even if I am still kind of excited about this interview next week..." she told him.

"It's okay to be excited." he reassured her while still running his fingers through her hair.

"Brunz?" she asked him.

"Yeah, baby?" he stopped with hi fingers.

"I really like it when you do that thing you did this morning....you've never done that before....." she said taking a mental sigh of relief. That was a better way of handling it then just asking wtf is going on, right?

"Oh...that thing...." he said with a slight laugh.

"Please don't tell me if it's just because you're leaving..." she said a bit shocked.

"No....you changed your body wash." he said. "It was just different. I liked the way it felt..." he said.

"Oh "Oh my god...that's it?" she asked. "I switched from my Dove to the Ulta stuff....the birthday cake thing...." she said shaking her had. "I thought it was like you slept with someone else and you were feeling guilty or something..."

"Oh Delores...." he laughed squeezing her making her laugh. "No. No. I'm working on this script thing and the album...and you...." he said making her squirm even more.

"Oh stoppppp." she laughed uncontrolablly trying to overpower him to flip on top of him to win the flirt argument they were having.

"I've got this...." he whispered in her ear flirtaciously pinning her arms down against the couch.

"Not if I have anything to do with it..." she said pushing his hands off of her quickly sitting up attempting to wrap her legs around him to pin him. Instead of getting her legs around him she felt her body start to wobble on the edge of the couch. As they both started to tumble to the ground in between the couch and the coffee table she saw a dark brown shadow come across her peripheral vision and scrap against her forehead. "Oh shit...." she groaned feeling blood drip down her cheek.

"Lo....." Bruno jumped up wiping the bit of blood off her forehead.

"I'm not going to the hospital again...." she said sitting up feeling the blood falling down her cheek.

"You're not...." he said pulling her up from the ground leading her to the bathroom. "You're going to be fine...." he laughed at her seeing a small line appearing on her head. "You're going to make it." he said kissing her neck while he put a small band aid on her forehead.

"I don't know what I would do without you...." she said wrapping her arms around his neck kissing him lightly. "I won that one." she winked at him kissing him lightly going back to the living room.

"Damnit." he rolled his eyes heading back to the couch to finish reading his script where she sat next to him writing with her headphones in.
