"Oh my god!" Lacie exclaimed as the sound lowered and Bruno took the stage.

"It's just a concert, girl." Madelyn said as she started to scream at the same time.

"Why are we friends with them?" Lola asked Bianca.

"Hell if I know." she shrugged sipping her wine. "My plan is to get so drunk that I have no idea what happened from the time we landed until the time we get home."

"Why?" Lola asked. "You didn't swipe anyone right tonight?"

"Ugh. Fuck you." she laughed sipping her drink. "I just don't want to remember that time that my best friend fucked Bruno Mars for the first time."

"I didn't fuck him." she said over the loud music. "It wasn't like that. It could have been but it wasn't." Lola said moving er hair up feeling how hot it was inside. As she was pulling her hair up the screams got even louder and Bruno started to walk slowly up the stage.

"Are y'all ready to party?" he asked telling his fans to put down their phones and start to dance. He scanned the room looking for Lola seeing her turned around talking to Madelyn. She's not watching...he thought to himself. Does she really like me? Why did I bring her out here? And after all we said earlier today? He looked away from her trying to forget she was there throughout the set until he got to Just the Way You Are. He moved his eyes back to her seeing her staring intently at him catching his eyes. She waved at him very quickly and then smiled. Ugh. He is is so cute. She blushed as he started looking right into her eyes not taking them off her for a solid 2 minutes as he sang the song.

"Can I keep him?" she leaned over to ask Lacie.

"If you don't, I will." she answered as he started to say good-bye to the crowd. A few seconds later Lola pushed herself toward backstage using her VIP pass to get through. Through the noise she heard Bruno's voice.

"Oh! Lola!" he saw her reaching for her hand. "How was it?" he asked leading her to the back of the room.

"It was so amazing. I'm glad I popped my Bruno Mars concert cherry." she smiled.

"Well, it was more than that..." he leaned in kissing her ear. "I'm going to take a shower real quick.

"Okay." she said letting go of his hand. "I'll go back out and watch whoever it is that's on now..."

"They're good, Lo...don't be like that." he made a face at her.

"Alrigghttt." she whined turning around to go back to the VIP section where she was before.

"Who the hell is this?" she asked Bianca.

"Hell if I know." she said handing Lola her glass of wine.

"Yes. Thank you." she said sipping the drink. "I'm going to talk to him.."

"Go get 'em." Bianca answered taking the drink back. "Go get your own. Damn."

"I will." she harumphed turning to get her drink and coming back a few minutes later seeing Bruno standing near one of his friends. Ugh, I bet he smells so good. But I really need to talk to him.

"Oh! There you are!" he exclaimed hugging her. Ugh. I was right.

"Can we talk?" she asked eying the door.

"Ohhhh. Yes. We can 'talk'." he smirked.

"No." she said feeling his arm wrap around her. "Thank you for inviting us."

"You're welcome." he said walking down the brightly lit strip.

"How is no one noticing you right now?" she asked.

"I'm 5'5 and I'm wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I think I blend in..." he said stopping to look at her.

"I'm surprised no one knows who you are all dressed in your street fashion best..." he said touching her neck. "You're so beautiful, Lola."

"Oh my god. Will you not?" she blushed leaning against the wall.

"What's going on?" he asked her placing his hands in his pocket looking at her confused.

"So...." she looked down at her trendy shoes. "I just don't know like..I know we talked earlier today..."

"What are you worried about?" he asked.

"What do I tell everyone on Monday?" she asked. "Do I tell everyone that I just went to Vegas with the girls or..."

"You tell them you came out here to see me." he smiled at her.

"Oh?" she winked.

"Yeah..." he leaned into her lips. "I think I like you...."

"I think I like you too." she smiled against his lips. "But do I tell anyone?"

:What do you mean?" he wondered.

"It's just like...that...I write and I talk about my life and if you're part of my life..." she told him. "I'm not about writing every day about how amazing Bruno Mars is and how he treats me and everything...but I do write about relationships..."

"Oh...right...." he said stepping away from her.

"And I know that privacy is so important to you and what you do..but it's like I live this very public life...that's different than your public life..."

"Yeah. I know." he answered. "I don't know. Can we table that for a while?" he asked. "That's kind of stressful..."

"Yeah. You're right." she sighed. "Forget I asked about it." she said starting to walk toward the venue.

"What if I said I already wrote about you?" he asked her hoping to not worry her.

"But the difference is that you don't have to use my name to write about it. I have to..." she said. "Everyone knows who you are...no matter what I say they would connect the dots. I know your fans. I know my followers...."

"Please don't worry about that right now, Lola...." he said to her touching her cheeks. "Please..."

"I'll try." she said suddenly feeling comforted and scared all at the same time knowing that he was right beside her. "Can we just go upstairs and lay on the couch or something?"

"Yeah. I'd like that." he said putting his arm around her leading her up the elevator to their room.
