Bruno quickly forgot about Lola and the chance that she would write about him. He got lost in his music but remembered to text her in the mornings, in the afternoon and good night. They continued to text each other, getting to know each other and what made themselves who they were; what made them happy, what made them sad and everything in between. Bruno told her about his three year relationship with Bella and their horrible break-up. Lola continued to tell him about her on again and off again relationships. She told him about her one relationship in college, David. David was a finance major who interned at Wall Street, worked at Sterns and Foster, lost his job shortly after he got it and moved back in with his parents in New Jersey. She told Bruno she saw them going all the way. They were going to have kids and move to Connecticut and live in the same neighborhood she grew up in and she would work as a freelance mommy blogger and they would live happily ever after.

"Now I see why you want to have everything." Bruno told her laying on the floor of his living room with his dog. "And you almost had it."

"But it wasn't like I lost it." she told him. "It was tough. It was like you and Bella..but I know I'm happier now."

"I can tell you're happy." Bruno told her. "But you know what would make me happy?"

"What?" she asked not sure where he was headed with the conversation.

"If you came to Vegas for my show this weekend...." he suggested.

"Oh. The Rock in Rio thing?" she asked.

"Yeah. Come...it will be fun." he suggested.

"But I don't know..." she thought out loud. "I don't know anyone or anything..it would be weird." she answered.

"Bring the three little bears." he told her with a laugh discussing her roommates. "I'll get you all a room. I mean....you can stay with me...."

"Oh?" she asked.

"Yeah. I want to see you. It's been too long." he said to her in a sweet soft voice.

"I do too." she told him. "I'll get the bears and tell them we're going to Vegas this weekend." she told him.

"I will get you all the information. I can't wait to see yooouuu." he sang to her.

"Oh my godddd." she laughed at him rolling over in her bed. "It's still so early for you but sooo late for me." she moaned.

"Then go to bed, babe." he said in a half joking sleepy voice.

"Yeah. " she said. "But just a few days and we'll see each other." she smiled through the phone.

"Good night, Lola. I will talk to you tomorrow." he started to say good-bye to her.

That Friday evening Madelyn, Bianca, Lacie and Lola laid their bags on the ground at La Guardia weaing shorts and t-shirts in the coolish Spring air of New York. "So, are you two like together or?" Lacie asked.

"I don't know. I don't know how much time we'll have together to talk about it. And he doesn't shut up about being with his band...." she paused. "I don't even know if this is a good idea." she reached for her phone seeing that he texted her.

Have a safe flight

I don't know if I should come today.

Why? (insert some emojis here)

This is your first show after a while, you haven't seen your band and you will want to be with them and I just don't know how much time we will have to be alone.
