Lola easily went back to work and her life after her trip to Los Angeles. She and Bruno easily also went back to their routine of texting each other and talking to each other about everything that was going on. Bruno was feeling a bit overwhelmed by working on new music and writing while Lola's mind was flowing and busy writing about anything and everything that she could think of. One evening the two started texting about being together and her being in Los Angeles. After about fifteen minutes of going back and forth she reached for her charging phone to talk to him.
"Hey babe...." she heard Bruno over the sound of a TV.
"You're really just sitting at home watching Game of Thrones?" she asked him.
"I don't lie about the real things, Lo." he smiled through the phone. "But you could be here watching it with me...."
"Bruno....you'll be here in a few days. I don't need to be there." she said.
"Have you thought about it at all?" he asked.
"No." she answered. "I'm staying here. All my family is here and there's no chance of any of them ever being that close..." she said. "And we just started dating, Bruno. It's a huge step not just professionally, but personally. Why would I live with someone who I barely know? Why would you?" Bruno sighed not saying anything to her. "What? We have the weekend to be together." she paused. "But I don't....please don't think that I don't ant to be with you all the time. I love being with you...."
'I want to wake up next to you...and see you in the morning without make-up on and make you breakfast and....I....I don't know if I want to....like..."
"No, Bruno. I'm not there either. It's a weird in between thing. Like I want to be with you and I want to see how things work, but God no. No. I don't want to get married and live happily ever after. I want this. I want to live happily. I'm not ready for the ever after yet." she told him.
"Not ready for the ever after, huh? You're still living it then?" he asked.
"I'm living in the story right now." she said to him. "And I can't wait to write whatever happens next...when I see you on Friday."
"Okay, baby. Are you going to bed soon?" he asked her.
"Yeah. I'm already laying in bed." she yawned dramatically.
"Well aren't you a princess.: he joked with her.
"But I do need to go to bed." she answered.
"Okay, baby. Sweet dreams." he said sweetly.
"Sweet dreams, Bruno." he said softly ending the call.

"Bruno?" Lola asked late Friday afternoon turning the knob of the swanky apartment that he was staying in.
"Hey...." Mark said standing at the edge of the room next to Bruno looking at something on his computer.
"Hey, Lo." he said acknowledging her as she dropped her two overnight bags on the floor. "I'm going to go put these down..." she said walking toward the bedroom.
"Go talk to her...." Mark pushed Bruno away from the computer.
"Oh, yeah. Okay." he said walking toward the bedroom seeing her laying down on the king sized bed looking at her phone. "Are you tweeting about me?" he asked falling on top of her hearing her moan from the extra weight.
"No. I was just letting the Bears know I'm here and that I don't know what we're doing tonight." she told him.
"Oh. I didn't plan anything. I think some of the guys are coming over to work on what we've got going." he said.
"Oh..." she pushed him off of her to talk to him. "Why did I come over?" she asked sitting on her elbows. "I can go home if you're going to be busy...."
"No...." he said laying on her again. "Stay...." he said against her lips kissing her.
"I guess I have stuff to do..." she said pushing him off her again. "After everyone leaves." she said grabbing his pants as she went out into the main room. So this is how it's going to be...she thought to herself as she started to talk to Mark about what Bruno and he were doing.
