"When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty, I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."
- C.S. Lewis, On Stories: And Other Essays on Literature
A/N:
Very true quote! Do you read fairy tales for yourself or someone? Has someone else read fairy tales to you before?
I remember how much they entertained me as a child and honestly, they still fascinate me to this day. I like learning their origins, authors, categorisations, vocabulary, the illustrations made for them, etc. I am fond of the art style so I often adopt such visuals in my other logo and brand, I've also created art for my country's fairy tales/folklore. It's just another kind of fantasy with a vintage feel to it that makes it so pleasant.
