A spot-on quote from the brilliant artist! Recently, I went to see his works in the "Van Gogh" museum and I gotta say I was still impressed and surprised by new things even though beforehand I had seen his art and watched the film "Loving Vincent" which tells his life story greatly (which I absolutely recommend of course). My favourite paintings of his ended up being the landscapes like 'Undergrowth', 'Trees and undergrowth', 'Pine trees and dandelions' (included in this chapter) and his portrayals of village people with bold outlines. What are yours if you have any?
The only thing I regret is telling that whole life story to my friends when they asked me to on the train without realising we were in a silent car, oops! ^^;
