"Careful knowledge of what we love sets us free to love more widely."

- The School of Life, "How to find creative work" on Youtube

A/N:

A fantastic video for all the creatives out there and I'd say for others too because in my mind you don't need to have anything to do (as a job, hobby or whatever) with the typical creative fields such as filmmaking, art, music, photography, poetry, etc to be considered 'creative'.

A person can be creative/have a creative approach with many other things in life even small ones such as the way you think of or do something, it can be different, imaginative, innovative and original. The way you put together things and how you solve problems, come up with arguments, etc are signs of creativity too.

That aside, the video talks about how "What we want exists in different places beyond those we identified" when it comes to finding a job that you enjoy and is creative. I completely agree that you can find a more niche profession that asks the same skills to get to the same happiness and creative outlet but is often found in a field other than the first to come to mind. So, by observing more closely what makes us happy in a job and by gathering all the options instead of only the obvious ones we will secure a happy work life for ourselves.

Do you guys agree as well? Let me know in the comments if you've watched the video too and have a nice day!
