Chapter 15: Promotion

Author: "Hi folks! I know it's weird to see me here and not in the Outro. I feel like I'm writing two stories at once but anyway. I have made the decision that all of Neo's dialogue will be like "This". I kind of don't want to keep writing that Neo is writing on her Scroll all the time. It may be a bit confusing, but I can always change it back if you guys hate it. Now onto our regularly schedule Remnant Viking Episode!"

Ruby: "There is no schedule! You write this if you dream it!"

Author: "SHUT UP! How did you get here!?"

I have the horrible condition of not getting drunk but still getting the hangover. My night out with Ironwood was quite fun actually! We traded stories and drank at a bar that most Atlas Officers go to. Made quite a lot of new friends last night. Just got to remember to never let Blake know that I got the numbers of a pair of quite cute lieutenants. I wonder how the girls are doing nowadays. Blah. Bet they are fine.

I vaguely remember that I manage to make it to the apartment that Ironwood set up for me and Neo. It was a nice one bedroom with a nice living room and kitchen. I manage to get up from the coach that was my bed for the night/morning. I suddenly felt something smack the backside of my head. In confusion, I turned around to be met with an angry Neo with a paper fan in her hand.  Don't tell me Winter has those too!? Now Neo!? Someone kill me now. Might get rid of the hangover.

Y/N: "Good morning, Neo. I told you that I went out drinking with the boss, right?"

Neo: "Then why is there a half-naked woman in our bed?"

Thats one way to sober quickly.

Y/N: "Excuse me? Is that scroll buggy? Do we need to get you a new one?"

I took Neo's scroll and began to see if its broken. Neo keeps trying to take it back, but I just held it out of her reach. Her response was to use the couch as a springboard and managed to retake it. Kinda proud not gonna lie.

Neo: "Winter just dropped me off and I find you passed out on the couch and some woman in our bed! You best tell me what happened, or I am texting Blake!"

Y/N: "Neo...Dear......Are you trying to kill me?"

Neo just gave me a glare and started texting Blake about what she saw. She had her finger on the send button. Oh god....

I quickly went to check our bedroom and in fact, TO MY HORROR, there is a half-naked woman in my bed. Worst part is, I DON"T KNOW HER!!!

Y/N: "OHI!! GET UP!!!"

I toss the woman off the bed, and she woke up screaming.

???: "OWW!! WHAT THE HELL!? WHY ARE YOU IN MY APARTMENT!?!"

Y/N: "YOUR HOME!?!? THIS IS MINE AND MY KID'S PLACE!!"

???: "NO, IT'S NOT!"

Y/N: "IRONWOOD GAVE ME THIS PLACE!!"

Her face paled. A grim realization is starting to dawn on her.

???: "You....wouldn't happen to be......Colonel Xyros? Right?"

Y/N: "That I 'am. NOW GET OUT!"

The girl quickly gathered her things and fled the apartment. The girl slam through Neo on her way out. That bitch is getting lead next time I see her. I check on the fallen Neo to make sure she is fine. She waves me off and checks her scroll. Her faced pale and panic sets in. She showed me her scroll. 

Message Sent. 

Barely a month into this world and now I'm gonna die.
