It's been a few days since the Vale Incident. Neo has been sullen and tends to stay in our room. She at least eats regularly. She also tends to hang out in the hangar and watch the usual activity that goes about in the hangar. She sits on Hati and watches. I worry about her, but such things require time. Time that may be running out. I hear whispers that something big is going on in Vale. That the Vytal Festival is gonna be a Special One. I smell the rotten stench that is Destiny about this whole thing. Ironwood himself is at Beacon with a few airships. It annoys me that we aren't invited too but the flight isn't that bad. It's the eventual fighting we may have to do is what worries me.

Regardless of my premonition about this Festival. I have actual work to do. I'm in my office with the blueprints of a new kind of Lanzer Torpedo. Though it is a Rocket now. The Newly Minted RH Lanzer Rocket is ready to be used and its currently being installed on both Inferno and Hellion wings. The RH means Remnant Hellfire. Yes, it's a Rocket that's packed with Fire Dust and with a little innovation of yours truly, it acts much like Napalm. Funny that this world never thought about Napalm. I've been wanting to make my Vikings more effective since there were very little threats to them in the air. Nevermores were poor foes. They fall easily to the Lanzers and I reckon we can just do Rocket Runs on any ground target. It may be a bit awkward, but we can make changes to the Vikings themselves. Oh Science! How I Love You Soo!!

There's also a list for New Pilots but the names give me a bad feeling. I had Zach look into them and they are all connected to the Schnee Family. I may like Weiss and hell I might even have a crush on Winter but that doesn't mean I will give them favors. The only good things that came out of that family are Winter and Weiss. I hear nothing but anger and disgust when it comes to the Company that family owns. Thier father, Jacquess or something, is a real hard arse. He essentially runs a slave empire, but he does provide the dust that much of the world needs. I say we just Nationalized his mines and kick him to the curb. Ironwood never thought of that, and he is currently thinking about that. A knock on my door brought me out of my thoughts and good Ol Broadside walks in.

Broadside: "Good afternoon, sir."

Y/N: "Afternoon Iron Heart. What brings you to my corner of paradise?"

He sat in my couch instead of my visitor chair across my desk. He let out an exasperated sigh and stared at the ceiling.

Y/N: "Your lucky I like you, Andrew. I would charge most people who lay my couch and bare their problems at me."

Broadside: "Haha. You got that list of new recruits?"

Y/N: "Yep. Had Zach do some info gathering and they were all connected to the Schnee Family in one way or another."

Broadside: "I had the same problem. I want to refuse them, but I don't think I can."

Y/N: "Did you forget? My official rank is Colonel. Only one above me is Ironwood himself. I told him that the Vikings/Heralds are under My Rules and My Standards. You're a Herald Andrew. If they don't meet Our Standards, then they get the boot. If it smells of politics, then deny them and I'll deal with it."

Broadside: "By deal with it. Do you mean dropping a Wing of Vikings on their heads?"

Y/N: "I was gonna shoot them in their kneecaps but sure, I like your plan better!"

Broadside groan that he gave me an idea. Many are figuring out that its best not to give me ideas. Cause I will do it if I really like it.

Broadside: "So what do you think about this stink that's coming out of Vale?"

Y/N: "Get your grunts on standby. I reckon we are going to get called in soon."

We talked for an hour or so before he left to deal with these "New Recruits". Neo came in soon after and plopped herself on the couch. She put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the couch and promptly went to sleep. Sadly, my desk scroll rings and its Ironwood. Oh Joy.
