Chapter 18: Gathering Storm

Yesterday was a fulfilling day. I no longer have Cherries but Actual Viking Pilots! Met and slaughter some Grimm and had a wonderful sleep. I felt something poking my cheek from behind. I half open an eye and find a smug looking Neo. Neo? Why is Neo behind me? If she is behind me.... Then who the hell am I cuddling with!?

To be honest. I was too scared to take my eye off Neo. Ignorance is Bliss after all, but it isn't safe. I softly patted the mystery head and felt what I believe were Cat Ears. Cat Ears? I only know one Cat Fanus. A Cat Faunus that has quite the crush on me though I don't know how I had that effect on her. I gently rub the ears and I hear a soft purring plus the head snuggling my chest. I have to confront this eventually. Neo has a smug grin as she enjoys my misery. I'm gonna throw worms at her later.

Y/N: "Neo?"

Neo tilts her head, and that smile grows a bit wider.

Y/N: "Is it who I think it is?"

Blake: "Yes"

Y/N: "Oh...Well then..."

I feel her staring at me. I honestly don't know what to do. Wait...I do have a plan. The apartment is only on the 2nd floor. Just need a little help. Good thing I have That!"

I reach for behind the bed and pull out a small paper bag.

Blake: "What is that?"

Y/N: "RUBY!!! I GOT STRAWBERRY COOKIES!"

In less than 4 seconds.

Ruby: "GIMME GIMME!!!!"

Cookie Demon/Ruby jumps/tackles on the bed. This distraction is all I need to get out of Neo and Blake's grasps and to the window. I jumped out and landed with little issues except for the fact that I'm half naked. I made a run for the base. I thought that I got away with it when I just reached the front gates. The pair of guards saluted me though they had a look of confusion about them. Silver and a trio of her pilots also were about to enter the base when I showed up suddenly and out of breath.

Silver: "Chief? What the hell happen to you?"

Y/N: "Ah Silver! Beautiful morning isn't it!"

Blake: "That it is Y/N."

Oh no. SHIT, I FORGOT SHE CAN TELEPORT!!!! I felt a heavy hand on my shoulder and felt Doom behind me. 

Y/N: "Silver. Care to help your chief out a little?"

Silver took a look at Blake and smiled. 

Silver: "To think you were like this Chief! As a Man and a Viking Chief. You got to take responsibility!" She gave a wink to I assume Blake and left me. Her pilots followed trying to hold in their laughter. Great. They all are gonna know my love drama. Shit.

Guard: "It was an Honor to Know You Sir!

Guard 2: "We will be sure to make a Statue of you Sir!"

I hate them. 

I finally decided to face the music and turn to meet Blake. I forgot how cute she was. She had a rather blank look about her, but her grip is still like a steel claw. Hope i don't screw this up like I did with Jenny.

Y/N: "I'm not gonna run anymore. Let's just go home so I can do this dressed."

She smiled at this and held my hand. Was she always this bold?

Guard: "Perverts!"

Guard 2: "Disgusting...."

Author: "Yeah....Shoot them!"

Guard: "Who the fuck are you!?!"

Author: "Oh! Umm...."
