A week has passed since the Viking Program has been known. Ironwood decided to not hold a general assembly and just let me do my thing. I visited the medics and inquired about their leg bionics. They are surprisingly well advanced and incredibly well made. Ironwood wasn't kidding about them.  I told them that they best get ready with those legs. They got work to do soon.

I return to the Hangar and sit inside the rebuilt Hati. I had to keep in touch with my Girl after all. I power on the engines, and they made a reassuring hum. Sensors are operating good. Visuals are clear. Guns loaded. All Systems Nominal. I was about to walk out of the hangar and do a flight test when nearly twenty mechanics and soldiers start filing into the Hangar. Guess the Cherries are here. I power down Hati and make my down to my hopeful Viking Pilots.

Y/N: "Good morning boys and girls! As you all should know by now, my name is Colonel Y/N Xyros. I am from another galaxy, and I have joined Atlas. You are here today to become one of the first native Viking Pilots. This machine requires nothing less than absolute Focus and Skill. We Pilots are some of the, if not the, Best Pilots of the Terran Dominion.

Since you are here before me. That means that you made the life changing decision to become Pilots. You will lose your legs if you're not 6ft even. You will never get that back. Even if you do this. Even with all the Training that I, a Veteran Pilot, give you. You May Still Die. The Viking Will Always Try To Kill You. You either become a Pilot at the end of the day or become a Corpse. This is your one and only chance to back away.

No one will or should think bad of you. In fact, you will have my respect for walking away. Your Life is Important. You Live or You Die. There is no middle ground. If your 6ft even, then stand behind me. If not, then go with the Medics waiting for you at the Infirmary. Follow the medic at the hangar doors if you're determine enough."

I was gonna wait but they all either stood behind me or went to follow the medic to the infirmary. I usually see a few balks at the prospects of dying at the end, but I guess these guys and girls are made of sterner stuff. I turn around to see the four that don't need to lose the legs.

The four were men but they look exactly the same. Least they have different color hair. Red, Blond, Brown and Blue

Blue: "Yes, sir we are quadruplets."

Y/N: "Thats new. Least you got different hair colors."

Red: "Oh that's because of our Semblance sir! We all correspond to a different Element."

Blond: "My name is Conrad and I have a Lightning Control Semblance sir!"

Red: "My name is Zach, and my Semblance is Fire Control sir!"

Blue: "My name is Markus, and my Semblance is Water Control sir!"

Brown: "My name is Gerald, and my Semblance is Earth Control sir!"

Y/N: "Good to meet you Cherries!"

Gerald: "Cherries sir?"

Y/N: "I'll explain later. But you and the rest of you hopefuls are Cherries to me. You'll get it in time."

Zach: "Sir may I ask you something?"

Y/N: "That you can."

Zach: "Can... I get the Bionics?"

Y/N: "What?"

Gerald: "We feel kind of feel bad not going through the procedure."

Y/N: "If you want too then your allowed to. It's your body so do with what you please."

The four gave me a salute and went off to catch up with the rest of the Cherries. I was quite surprised by those four. They look roughly my age. Oh, to be young again. Wait, I'm young again. Shit. I just got used to having legs again! I chase after the rest of the Cherries.
