"Don't call me that." Said Eros, getting completely serious.

Talk about mood swings.

"Well then what do I call you?" I asked randomly.

"How about just using my name, you know maybe that will be better for the both of us." Eros responded.

"How will it be better for me?" I asked, completely baffled.

"I- actually never mind, I forgot." He lied. I knew he was lying but I wasn't about to push the topic anymore.

I took the gently warped treat from Eros's hand and unwrapped it. There was a chocolate donut with pearl white sprinkles on top. I looked at Eros like he was my knight in shining armour, which he technically was but still.

I was pretty sure I looked like a lost puppy with little puppy eyes. I looked down at the donut and broke it in half and gave the other piece to Eros. He looked down at my gesture and asked, "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing? I am sharing this glorious donut with you."

"If it is so glorious why don't you eat it yourself?" He asked while smirking.

"Have you drugged this or something? You are acting sus." I asked half sarcastically, half suspicious.

"No of course not! And besides, where would I find drugs over here anyways?"

Eros did have a point but it was still really suspicious.

"If it is not drugged, then why don't you eat it before I do." I challenged him.

"Fine." He said, clearly not too happy about it.

Eros took the other half donut from my hand and took a bite from it.

"See I'm fine. I didn't do anything to the donut, you can eat it." He said returning the other half of the donut back.

"Don't give me that piece back, I wanted you to have it and you are having it." I demanded.

"Oh so I wanted you to have the whole donut and you're going to do exactly that." He responded smiling in the most devilish way someone could ever.

I was stubborn but he was worse. I didn't really know when we became this friendly with each other but it happened. I wasn't going to back down though I was going to be nice.

"Eros, could you please have that piece of donut?" I pleaded, Looking deep into his eyes.

"Fine." He said and ate his first bite.

I did my little victory dance inside my head and took a bite out of my donut, and when I say it the best thing I had was an understatement. I moaned as I took a bite.

"Jeez Rue, I know I'm hot but come on." Said Eros, smirking.

Well that took an unexpected turn.

"I- Bro it was because of the donut."

"So you are admitting I'm hot?" He asked, his smirk only widening.

"I am not!" I said completely losing my cool and saying it a little louder than I intended.

"Quiet down sweetheart, we don't want to wake anyone up now do we?" Eros teased.

"I- I'm- GOD! You are literally the most annoying creature ever to exist." I whisper shouted at Eros, widening my eyes.

"Oh yeah, sweetheart? Then why are you stuttering so much, huh?" He asked while his smirk just kept increasing, neverendingly

"I'm not stuttering, it's- it's just really cold." I managed to make a hopeless lie in front of Eros but as I said , it was hopeless.

"Sure, it's really cold. Especially when we are sitting next to the fireplace and wearing this suit." Eros said pointing at his suit and then to the fireplace.

He was enjoying taking over but before it became worse, I said "I am so done with you, I'm going to bed. Thank you for the donut." But before i could stand up he said,

"Ohh sweetheart, what makes you think you're done with me? Whether you like it or not, you are just getting started with me."

I couldn't deal with him right now, so I got up and started walking where my current room was, but before I reached my room, I told Eros, "And Eros, Stop calling me sweetheart."

To that all I heard was, "Okay... sweetheart."

As soon as I heard that last 'sweetheart' my stomach knotted into a huge knot. Regardless of the huge knot inside my stomach, I went inside my room and laid down on my bed but my eyes were wide open. That sweetheart was different, it made me want to hear it from Eros again and again; it made me want to play it on repeat the whole day, everyday.
