Chapter 25

"did I make up for it?" 

"I thought it was a mind game this place was playing with me." I replied. "Of course it was, but it wasn't happening in your mind, it was physical."he answered and after a long pause he asked, "How are you feeling?"

"Better, I mean I'm not sure but, it just feels lighter. If you know what I mean." I responded, my emotions switching. "Yeah I do. Come here sweetheart." Eros called out, and before I knew it my legs obeyed him. Eros pulled me tight in his arms and whispered, "I'm so proud of you."

I melted in his arms, never wanting to leave.

"Eros! Did you find Rue?" I heard Carl's voice echo through the walls. "So you're not mad at him anymore?" I asked. "For what?" He asked, confused. "For- for um walking in on us?" I asked, feeling my cheeks heat up for the millionth time. "I was not mad at him, it wasn't his fault. I was mad at the situation. Our first kiss ended before it even started. That was kind of unfair, don't you think?" He asked in a cheesy tone.

I looked up at his face and into his forest green eyes. "It's okay, you can make up for it later. Make it better, you know. Let it be somewhere more beautiful instead of a messy kitchen. You know." I said sarcastically, which earned me a smirk. "Alright, sweetheart." He replied, before Carl walked on us for the second time. "Am I interrupting something again?" He asked, nervous. "Nah man. Come on." Eros said, looking back at me. Carl's face relaxed, which made me think if Eros was threatening him or something.

We walked out and Eros held my hand doing so. Everyday over here has been a rollercoaster of emotions for me, we had some food packed with us so we sat in a gorgeous dining room and ate there. Even though these places were absolutely stunning they were extremely dusty, so before sitting on the dining table. We wiped the dust off the tables and chairs, and by we I meant Diana and me. While we were doing the hard part the boys were chatting nicely and removing the food from the bag and keeping it on the dusty table, while we were cleaning it. Let's just say the rest of the meal wasn't very pleasant.

I was very tired so we all kind of stayed in the garden for a little longer. Diana and I just walked around the garden admiring the beauty of it all as the moon's silver light shined on them. While we were talking about some rubbish to pass time, Eros came out of nowhere and said, "Diana, hi, mind if I borrow Rue for a while?" "I hate you, but no I don't mind." Diana said and smirked at me. I gave Diana an annoyed look before I got pulled away by Eros.

"Wassup?" I asked, in the most annoyed way possible. "I'm sorry did I annoy you?" He chuckled. "Well, if I have to be transparent. Yes you and Carl annoyed both me and Diana. First Diana and I had to clean the whole 8 seater dining table while you both were just talking about stupid things. And to make things worse for yourself you both took the container of food out and kept it on the table while we were cleaning the table. So guess what, I'm annoyed." I explained and while I was doing so we walked onto the balcony and I didn't even realise. "I'm sorry, will you let me make up for it?" He asked. "How?" I questioned him, looking at the beautifully detailed water fountain and the ripples it created became silver in moonlight. I felt Eros gentle hand grab my chin and move it to look at him, I looked into those forest eyes. His eyes dropped to my lips and his pretty long lashes fluttered. "Like this, sweetheart." He said before dropping his lips down to mine. Bigger and stronger electric bolts flew through my body. His plump and soft lips tangled with mine, forget the cage of butterflies, the entire zoo went crazy inside me.

I opened my eyes and looked at him, his green eyes sparkling in the beautiful silver moonlight. "Did I make up for it?" He asked, and when I didn't respond he repeated the whole thing again. I was speechless, I had no words, a billion thoughts running in my mind after he pulled away. When he looked at me, I couldn't breathe. He pulled me closer and tucked me safe in his embrace.
