I heard footsteps coming towards the door so I sprinted back to my seat and sat there like I wasn't just eavesdropping on them talking about me. "Hey, sweetheart." Said Eros. "Hi." I replied. Eros stopped in his tracks and had a very surprised look on his face. "What?" I asked. "That the first you replied in a 'not stay away from me jerk' kinda way." He said. "Does that mean-?" "No." I answered before he could even finish the sentence. "But-" he continued. "I said no." I replied in the stern voice I could.

I knew what he was going to ask, he was about to ask if I forgave him. I didn't. But I wasn't mad at him. I wanted to mend things with him, it was just a little complicated. "Eros, what are you doing right now?" I asked. "Nothing, just checking for some snacks, want some?" He asked. "No, thanks. We need to talk." I replied, if I wanted to mend things with him, I'd have to be the one to start actually mending it. He grabbed something from one of the cabinets, and sat down next to me. "Ok, what up?" He asked, his carelessness masking his panic. "We need to talk about us." I said, and that was when it struck me, I knew I had to mend things but now that I was doing it I didn't really know what to talk about.

"I know" Eros began, "I know how wrong I was, how wrongly I reacted, trust me, I know. I had a whole night to think about it. I was so casual about something so serious and important. That was idiotic of me and I want you to know I'm really, actually sorry about it. But I'm not going to be sorry about trying to help you. I don't regret it, you were so brave and heroic. I am actually so proud of you." He explained, and it somehow made me feel at ease. It was comforting knowing that he actually cared, cause if he didn't mean those words, his eyes gave it away that he actually did.

"Eros, I don't forgive you." I said as he nodded understandably but I saw him get a little disappointed. "But I'm not mad at you anymore. I just need a little bit more convincing that I can trust you. I know you understand, but I need you to be a little bit more patient with me if us is going to work, I'm pretty messed up." I told him as his deep forest eyes became more gentle and comforting. We sat there for a while, just enjoying each other's company.

Diana and Gizem entered the room with their usual chatter, who knew that Diana could be so talkative? She seemed happier now that Gizem was with her and I honestly felt good for her. "Hey guys. Are you both done with your 'love in the air' vibe?" Gizem giggled, she was an outgoing 16 year old. I liked her, she had the kind of energy that attracted everyone's energy. It was precious. I ignored her question when Diana glared at Gizem and she shrugged. "Are we interrupting?" She asked. "No, we were just talking and we're done." I said as I looked at Eros, he nodded. He got up and said, "I have some unfinished work, I need to finish with Carl." I knew exactly the work he was talking about, but of course he didn't need to know that.

Diana took Eros's seat and Gizem took the one next to her. "Diana, you never told me where you came from?" I asked, trying to create some conversation to avoid the awkward silence. "Well, our parents are The Fitzroy, and I go to Spring High. Which is in Vicksburg, USA." I cut her off and said, "So you are the daughter of The Fitzroy, like the famous Fitzroy. No wonder I thought you seemed similar. You are so lucky, Oh my god." They didn't seem as excited as I was and let out an awkward laugh. I figured that they both had a normal family fight before they appeared here, so I didn't think much of it.

"So where are you from?" Gizem asked, changing the topic. "Eros, Carl and I are also from Vickburg but I used to live in a different city before. We all go to Rigeton High." I wasn't going to tell Diana about my parents, not now at least. We all were having a decent conversation and I didn't want to make it depressing right now. "When is your birthday?" I asked, looking at both of them. "Mine is on 28th March and Gizem is on 31th May." Diana answered for both of them. "Mine is on 16 April." I said.

Gizem got up and went towards the kitchen, "God is there any snacks here? I'm starving." She asked. "Yeah, just check the cabinets. I'm sure you will find something." I replied. Diana got up, "I'm also gonna go get some more snacks, you want some?" She asked. "Yeah sure, why not. Just get me whatever." I requested. Diana joined Gizem in the hunt for some snacks. "Ouch! You stepped on my foot. Clumsrat." Gizem yelled. Diana looked at her, "Did I break it?" She asked, looking unimpressed. "Well, no." Gizem said. "Then I don't see a problem without a problem." Diana said sarcastically and went back to hunting snacks in the cabinet. When they returned they both got snacks that could take days to eat. "Damn, that's a lot. How are we going to finish this?" I said looking down at the table filled with a ton of snacks. "Oh, we aren't going to finish this all. But varieties." Gizem chirped. "Rich girl stuff, I guess." And chuckled and picked up the closest chips laying towards me.

We talked about random stuff till we all heard a swif sound. Gizem gasped and looked behind her only to find a whole table full of food. "Woah." Gizem gasped. "Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that every night there is a feast over here." Diana explained. "Oh, you have absolutely no idea how glad I am to get out of the dungeon." Gizem said, her eyes sparkling. "Carl, Eros, the dinner is ready." I called them. About 30 seconds later they were out and walking towards the sink to wash their hands. Then they sat down and finally looked at the table in front of us. "Damn, you all had a snack party and we didn't get an invite? I feel hurt." Carl said dramatically while Gizem chuckled. We got up, sealed the snacks and kept them back in the cabinet before we washed our hands and joined the dinner.

"Those waffle chip things were amazing." Diana said, as she was the last one to sit down. "Diana you look very nice tonight, I love your-n" Carl spoke before he got interrupted by her. "What do you want?" Diana asked in a bored tone. "That is the last pack of waffle chip thing, can I have it?" He politely asked. "No." She replied firmly. "Oh come on, please?" Carl asked again. "No." Diana replied firmly, again. "Why?" Carl whined. "Because I just found out about it and you were probably the one to finish it all in the first place." She replied. That is a very logical reason. "No, I didn't finish it. Eros did." He complained. "Hey! Why are you bringing me this, it was entertaining until I wasn't involved." Eros whined. At this point I was convinced that boys are just 5 year olds stuck in a big six feet plus body.
