A few days later, Aria was back at school. She had avoided talking to Loki this long. And she intended to keep doing so, even in classes.
After maths, she grabbed her books and left the class, as Loki hurried after her.
"Aria, talk to me. Whats going on?" He asked.
"How could you be so cruel to me Loki?"
He was a little speechless.
"Pretending to be my friend. Playing your pathetic games on me. I trusted you"
"Aria"
"No. This is finished. I never want to talk to you again" She turned and stormed away from him.
Loki had no idea about what she was talking about. Looking up, he found Sif watching, smirking.
For days, Aria spoke to nobody. She kept her head down and worked hard. But ever so often, she would catch Loki watching her. Or even herself watching him. She could feel his confusion about this, and his hurt, that he was missing her.
Aria was in the library, searching for a book, when she reached for one, she got a sharp pain in her head. She closed her eyes, finding the room had changed again.
The house was plain. A woman with long blonde hair, being carried in by a man, with dark skin. They looked so happy. In love.
Freya hurrying in behind them, sounding excited.
"Its not much. Im sorry" He said.
"Its home husband" She replied.
Aria pulled back, finding herself back in the library, she was shaking. She looked out of the window, at the night sky, the stars sparkling. When instantly she could see things, life, in other realms.
"Aria?"
She gasped, forcing herself to look away from them, looking at Loki.
"Go away Loki" She hissed.
He wanted to apologise, to tell her it was all lies, she could feel it.
"Fine. Have it your way" He spat, grabbed his book and left.
Aria slowly sat down, trembling.
She wanted her friend back.
"Poor Aria. Alone. No friends. This is how it should be"
Aria looked up, finding Sif.
"I told you. You dont belong here, with us" She sneered.
She could feel her triumph, winning over Aria, it made her feel superior. All Aria could do, was dance to her tune.
The following day, it was combat training. Aria didnt want to be there. But at the same time, desperately wanted to be paired with Sif, knowing she couldnt hold back.
To begin with, Hera was doing footwork and techniques, then she began pairing everyone off.
"Aria, with Thor" She smiled. "Sif, with Loki"
Aria felt Sifs disappointment, as she glanced over at Loki, he rolled his eyes.
"Choose your weapons" Hera called out.
Aria walked over, picking up a sword, at the same time Sif made one of her usual snide comments to her.
"You ready handsome" Aria said loudly.
Thor chuckled.
"Born ready trouble" He replied, having picked his weapon.
Aria glanced at Loki, feeling his smugness from the side, knowing she was doing this to annoy Sif. They began fighting using the footwork, they had just been shown. But still close enough to hear Sif talking to Loki.
