chapter thirteen

Frigga was sat in her room with her ladies. They were going over the plans for Odins birthday, when someone knocked on her door.

"Yes" She called out.

The door opened and Heimdall walked in, bowing. He gave her that look when he came back up, that this was important.

"Ladies, excuse us" Frigga said.

They got up and left.

"Ive managed to locate Aria, my lady" He said.

Her eyes went wide and she gasped.

"where?" She breathed.

"Midgard. She isn't there alone. Villi is there and he knows she is there"

"We need to bring her home, quickly" Frigga said. "I'll send Thor, he can bring her home"

Heimdall agreed, but suggested she send Loki, that he would help more than his brother.

Frigga nodded, and sent for her sons.

It didn't take them long to go to her, Loki looked bored. Since Aria was gone, he was no longer interested in learning at school and would just constantly get into trouble.

"you demanded to see us mother2 Loki said, with such hatred.

Frigga looked at him fondly.

"Heimdall has located Aria" she said, pausing Loki stood up straight, shocked, he couldnt believe this, staring at his mother.

"where mother?2 Thor asked.

"Midgard" She answered.

"Is she alright?"

Frigga sighed.

"We need to bring her home" She stopped. "there is a slight problem"

Loki didnt like this.

"Villi is there, and he knows that Aria is there. We may already be too late, so, find her, pleased. Bring her home" Frigga looked at Loki.

Who nodded instantly.

"of course. Mother, will you have the council gathered for our return?" Thor asked.

"Council? Thor, shes innocent. She didnt murder Freya. Why do you believe this?" Loki asked.

"Loki, we have discussed this, she must be guilty for she ran after it had happened" Thor stated.

"Mother, I beg you, let me go alone. Thor will just scare her away"

"Thor I know of your opinion, but trust me, Aria is innocent. I want you to go there, and bring her home, safely"

Thor took a deep breath, but he nodded.

Heimdall sent them both down to Midgard, landing just outside the compound where Aria had been. Plus, Thor knew the Avengers, he would be able to get all the information he needed.

They walked through the building, towards the lounge area, hearing there voices. Everyone stopped talking when they saw Thor coming in.

"Thor, what brings you here?" Steve asked.

"We are here for Aria"

Steve and Tony exchanged looks.

"You know Aria?" Tony eventually asked.

"Yes, is she here?"

"No" Steve stepped forward, shaking Thors hand, then looked at Loki, thinking he didnt look friendly.

"My brother, Loki" Thor explained.

"Where has Aria gone?" Loki asked, wanting to skip the pleasantries.

"Were not sure exactly" Tony answered. "Can we go back to how you know her?"

"Aria is Asgardian. Something happened, she left. We need her to come home"

Steve lowered his head, trying not to let it show that he knew this.

"What happened, exactly? Only you dont look like youre here for a happy reunion Thor" Clint asked.

Thor and Loki took places around the room. Where he began telling them the details. Loki though was trying to find her, connect his mind to hers. He could feel her on the fringes, but she wasnt letting him in. Somehow Aria was blocking him.

Thor stood finishing up with the details.

"So, out of both the women murdered, you think Aria had killed one of them?" Steve asked.

"No" Loki quickly looked over. "I dont think that at all. She was set up. And we think that person is also here on Midgard"

The smile vanished from Steves face.

"I only want to take her home, keep her safe" Loki finished.

"The guy after Aria has magic, and he wants her, because he believes she can destroy Asgard" Thor said.

"So, you dont think Aria is a murderer?" Tony asked.

Thor said nothing.

"My brother, believes that she is guilty. No, can you tell me where she is or not" Loki demanded.

2We were currently looking for her" Tony said.

Loki was now beginning to feel frustrated.
