chapter seven

They walked towards the city, the sky falling dark around them. Loki looked over at the rainbow bridge. Pausing for a moment, as he looked at the house, he knew belonged to Heimdall. He could see the light was on in the middle of the house.

"Loki" Aria said, looking back when she realised he had stopped walking with her.

"Come with me" He quickly decided.

When Aria didnt move, he quickly grabbed her hand, pulling her away from the palace.

"Loki, where are we going?" She asked, her feet practically running to keep up with him.

"To someone who knows the answers to everything youre going through"

Loki knocked on the door, harder than he meant to.

It took a while for Heimdall to answer the door. Loki knew that he would have seen them coming. And he was hoping that they would just leave. When they didnt, he got up and opened the door.

"Master Loki" Heimdall said.

Aria gasped, recognising his voice.

"I think we all need to talk" Loki said.

Heimdall slowly opened the door and let them both inside.

Loki had to pull Aria inside, feeling she had frozen. They walked into the lounge area, that was beautifully lit.

"I think you need to tell her Heimdall" Loki said.

He looked shocked that this young prince of Asgard had worked it all out.

"You are. My father" Aria breathed.

He looked at his feet, taking a few moments before he looked up.

"Yes" He finally said.

Aria found herself sitting down on a chair, while Loki quietly left, giving them the chance to talk.

Heimdall made them drinks before he began explaining everything.

"I dont understand why I dont remember"

Heimdall sighed.

"Your mother was a talented witch Aria. She grew up with the queen herself. But when we married, she had to leave her coven"

Aria understood the forbidden union thing.

"Villi approached her. After the Enchantress had broken into the Kings vault and used the mirror. She saw the birth of another talented witch. Joining forces with darkness and bringing down the King. She told Villi, the kings brother this prophecy, before she was cast out"

She quickly looked up at the part about being the kings brother. Realising that Villi, was Lokis uncle.

"Villi wants revenge for being overlooked at being the king. Amora wants revenge for being overlooked as Odins next seer, not to mention being caught, fooling around with the prince of Asgard"

Aria tried not to think about that.

"Freya was enchanted to be your mother, while you forgot everything. Including your powers. The queen let Freya work for her, to protect you both Heimdall put down the cup. Frigga has been trying to protect you ever since"

Aria then explained to Heimdall about all she had seen, and all of her visions.

"I saw how my mother died, when I was over at the house"

"Your mothers last protection spell. To sacrifice herself in order to keep you safe. Im sorry"

Aria hesitated, her lip trembling as she tried not to cry.
