chapter nineteen

A few days later, Aria and Loki were overseeing the plans for there new house. It was out by the lake and still close enough to see family. It was coming along nicely.

Aria could feel the day getting closer, she could sense the pending doom looming.

"Shall we go for a walk?" Loki asked.

Aria nodded.

They began walking around the lake.

"I know something is troubling you Aria. I wont pretend to know what it could be. But you can always talk to me, about anything"

Aria smiled softly at him, about to explain what she had known for a few weeks now.

She stopped, turned and put her hands on his.

Loki looked at her, then gasped.

"You're pregnant" He stated.

Aria looked at him, confused, she hadn't thought of that, deliberately not thinking about it, as she didnt know what he would think.

"How did you know that?" She asked.

"I can feel her magic" He smiled.

"Her?"

Loki grinned, taking both of her hands and kissing her.

"You're okay with this?" Aria asked.

Loki was a little surprised by her question.

"Of course I am. Is this whats been bothering you?"

She swallowed the lump.

"With Villi out there Loki, Im worried he might come for both of us now. A magical child, its what he wants" She quickly said.

"And I will protect you both. I promise my love" Loki quickly held her trembling body.

They headed back to the palace, finding his parents were in there chambers. They were talking about conducting another search in the city.

"Someone has to be hiding him" Odin said.

"Aria. Loki. How is the house coming along?" Frigga wondered.

"Just fine my queen. Will be finished on time"

Loki looked at Aria, then to his parents, as Thor came into the room.

"We have some news" Loki said, smiling.

They all waited patiently.

"Aria is with child" He finished.

Both Odin and Frigga grinned at the same time before they went over and congratulated them. Thor soon joined in, before telling them he still had no sign of Villi.
