Author's note: I know last chapter was long and unnecessary, but it'll tie into some things later down the road. The next two chapters will be getting more straight to the chase. Stay patient!

It's been a week since your first mission. More and more people have been arriving to camp, to the point there are meal shifts. Thankfully you were able to get the same meal shift as Hummer. No one minded Lopsa joining you two. She was a bother to no one. Currently, you're writing in your dream journal. Dreams have slowed to about every other day, and they've lowered in intensity drastically. Maybe Hummer was right and all you needed was to unwind a little. Someone claps outside, the tent version of a knock. You place the journal down gently.

"Come in!" you call.

Hummer and Lopsa slip in, sitting across from you on your side of the tent.

"Ready for lunch?" Hummer asks.

"Yeah, just give me a second," you reply, lifting up your journal to finish what you were writing.

"What's that?" Lopsa asks, sitting comfortably in Hummer's lap.

"It's a dream journal. I write down all of my dreams and sometimes sketch out characters that appear in them," you reply.

"Do you get a lot of nightmares?" Hummer asks.

You nod and finish writing one last sentence, then place it down. Hummer and Lopsa give you a warm smile. You follow them out of the tent and towards the picnic area.

"Wait, I told Groose that he could eat with us today. Let me go get him real quick," you say, stopping.

"Alright! We'll have a bowl waiting for you in our usual spot," Hummer replies, running off.

You watch her walk over to the line, Lopsa in her arms, before turning to the large tent and walking towards it. From outside, you can hear talking inside.

"I think we have to take action after hearing the reports," a voice says.

This sentence causes you to pause outside the entrance. You strain your ears to listen for more.

"But what can we do? He's too powerful, and I doubt anyone would be able to even say a word to him without getting blown to smithereens,"

"What other choice do we have? If he is living in the forest, then he'll for sure stop any expansion efforts,"

"They have a point,"

"Still, that comes back to the question of what we should do. A task force would either scare him off. He'd know they're coming. But so would any of us. He has us all marked, I'm sure of it,"

"We could send an assassin,"

"Like who?"

"I have an idea,"

Your stomach growls, cutting your eavesdropping short. After a few more seconds, you open the flaps and step inside. Link, Zelda, and Groose turn to you immediately.

"Well, I have a promise I have to keep. We can discuss this more after lunch," Groose says, standing up and walking over to you.

"Bye, Groose, have fun!" Zelda replies.

Groose quickly ushers you out. He leads you towards the tables quickly.

"Is everything okay? What was that about?" you ask.

"Nothing. Just a problem that arose recently. It doesn't concern you... at least not yet," he replies, muttering the last part under your breath.

"Alright," you sigh.
