Ghirahim leads you down a corridor perpendicular to the throne room. You walk next to him, looking at the ornaments decorating the wall. The hallway is completely empty.

"Our first stop is the ballroom, then I'll show you the training grounds from there," he explains.

You nod. He leads you to the end of the hallway and down another one. Then, into a large door. You step inside after him. The room is twice the size of the throne room. You turn to look at everything. The walls are made of a white material and decorated with tons of gold designs. A part of the ceiling cones inward in a circle. Inside the raised circle is an absolutely massive, golden chandelier. Six large windows are on either side of the room, allowing light to flood in. The birch wood floor has many different diamond designs. Your jaw is stuck open. Light reflects off the floor, giving it a glossy look. In the very back of the room is a raised hangover. Inside the separated area is a marble statue of the same figure as the fountain in the town square. You walk across the room and stare up at it. The lifeless eyes watch out over the room.

"I'll have to get that removed," Ghirahim mumbles, walking up behind you.

"Why? Isn't he your master?" you ask, turning around.

He stands next to you and also stares at the large statue.

"Yes, he was," he replies solemly.

"Then wouldn't you want to keep the statue?" you ask.

You turn back.

"Let's just say our relationship was... complicated,"

You nod, not pushing it any further. He turns around and struts out of the room. You follow him.

"As I said, next is the training grounds, which is on the other end of this hall. If you wish to possibly become a knight, then you will want to familiarize yourself with them,"

He leads you to the other side of the hall and opens a door to an outside part of the castle. You walk out the door and he shuts it behind you. The training grounds are a large field cut off into smaller sections by wooden fences. Ghirahim steps in front of you.

"Each section is for a different style of training. There are four in all. As you can see, they all have training dummies, if you wish to work on your skills alone. There is a limit of 20 people per section at a time. If a dummy breaks, simply ask one of the training specialists for a new one. This first section is for swordplay," he explains.

As you pass, you see three Bokoblins hacking at dummies with swords. He stops in front of the next section.

"This one is used for spear training,"

Twelve Moblins are lined up and attacking each other with spears. They seem to be new recruits with their sloppy form. Ghirahim continues down the line.

"Next is the bow and arrow section. The rules here is that you must stay behind the line while shooting, and if you wish to retrieve your arrows, you must wait until everyone is done,"

You stop to watch a couple Bokoblins knock and shoot an arrow, barely hitting the target.

"Finally, hands on combat. There are no dummies here, so you must find a sparring partner,"

Many Lizalfos are attacking each other with impressive gusto. You nod. He starts walking farther back in the training grounds. You jog to catch up with him. He opens a very decorated door at the end of the courtyard and slips inside. You follow him and close the door behind yourself. You turn around.

"This is my private training room. I keep my swords and knives in this room," he explains, walking over to a shelf station.

You nod and look around. A large window on the ceiling lets light fill the room. Shadows of tree branches dance across the floor. Ghirahim delicately picks up a long, black sword by the blade, resting it flat against his palms. He transfers the hilt to his right hand and holds it out. Then, he brings the sword to his chest, bows his head over it, and places it back on the rack.

"If you would like to, you can also store your blade here as well," he adds, turning back to you.

"No, thanks. I think I'll keep it in my room,"

"Very well, then. Now, where were we on our tour?"

From his training room, Ghirahim takes you to every room in the castle. So far, the dining room has left the largest impression on you, having a large balcony and more than a hundred chairs.

"I have one more place I'd like to show you. On the way there, we'll pass my quarters, just so that you'll know where they are,"

You take a network of hallways, passing the master suite, which he points out. He hasn't told you what this last location is, so you're both nervous and excited. You pass by a doorframe without a door that leads to a set of descending stairs.

"What's down there?" you ask.

"Nothing of concern. If you ever need to know, you will," he replies.

He makes another right turn to a large set of stairs. The stairs have a large, red carpet leading up them. You make notice of the gold railing. Everything in the castle seems to be black, dark grey, white, or gold, besides the various red carpets in the main hallways. You climb the stairs quickly. At the top is a large pair of doors. Ghirahim swings them open and steps inside. You follow him.

"This is the library, full of every book ever written on the Surface, and even some from the sky realm," he boasts.

Your eyes are wide. Large bookshelves line the walls, so tall ladders are required to reach them. A lit chandelier lights up the room, but on the far wall is a fireplace, adding some warmth. Surrounding the fireplace are plush chairs, and on either side is a set of stairs leading to a balcony surrounding the room with even more bookshelves. The middle of the room has two large couches with a table in between. Two Lizalfos stand on either side of the door.

"The library is open to you at any time. I hope you will make use of it," he adds.

"I could die in here," you whisper.

He smiles.

"I don't doubt it in the slightest. If you ever need anything, ask any of the staff around the castle. They are your humble servants. If you need me specifically, I'm most often in my training room, but if I'm not there, I'll be in the throne room. I'll give you some time to adjust to the castle and make yourself feel at home,"

You nod. He snaps his fingers, disappearing in a storm of magical diamonds. You turn back to the library.

"What should I read first?"
