Author's Note: If I wrote a Sooga X Reader fan fiction, would y'all read it? I already have a solid idea, but I'm trying to decide whether or not I should wait until I finish this story. Thanks in advance!

A loud whistle startled you awake, causing you to bolt upright. You shiver. The creatures of the camp made you feel uncomfortable, so you slept near the edge of the campsite, far from the fire. You rub the sleepiness out of your eyes.

"We have five minutes to get a move on," Ghirahim announces.

You jump up. Five minutes? That's not enough time. You hurry to gather all of your belongings and shove them into your bag, then watch the camp from a distance. Some of the lizard creatures work together to take down the tent. The horned demons extinguish the fire, then roll up the sleeping bags. You're amazed at their efficient teamwork. Ghirahim stands in the center of the camp, watching everything. Once everyone is done, which doesn't take long at all, he claps his hands, getting their attention.

"Lets move out," he says, turning towards the stream.

The group make an orderly line behind him. You make eye contact with Ghirahim, but he immediately turns around and starts walking into the trees. The group follows him. You run and walk at the tail end of the group, hoping to not get left behind. It was amazing hospitality for their leader to even accept you. Even now, after pondering on it all night, you still don't completely understand why.

After four hours of straight walking, the group finds a small pond in the stream, and settles down for lunch. A few of the red demons surround the pond to possibly find fish, while the lizard creatures abandon all their armor and sneak into the jungle as quietly as possible. Those who stay behind work on creating many fires. You look around, then approach Ghirahim, who's overlooking the camp while standing on a tree branch. He looks down at you with a disgruntled glare.

"Yes, skychild?" he asks.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" you ask.

He thinks for a moment before jumping down, landing gracefully on his feet. You turn to him. He walks over to a group of the red demons creating a fire.

"You three. I want you to teach her how to create a fire," he says, gesturing his head towards you.

They turn to you, then back to Ghirahim, and nod. You approach them. Ghirahim snaps his fingers and disappears, reappearing in the tree. One of the creatures looks into your eyes and grunts something.

"I don't think I understand," you reply quietly.

It thinks for a moment, then turns to discuss something with the other two. You watch patiently, swaying back and forth gently. The creature turns back to you and motions for you to sit. You do as you're instructed. It nods and hands you a dried stick and a piece of cold, black rock. Then, carefully, it takes its own rock and starts making a swiping motion above the stick. A spark flies off the rock and onto the stick, which the creature drops into the ring of stones filled with dried leaves and more sticks. You nod. The creature turns around. You immediately start swiping at the stick with the rock, creating multiple sparks. None of them light the stick. As sweat starts slowly sliding down your creased brow, you concentrate on making your swipes quick and precise. Another spark floats off into the air. Suddenly, you hear a crack and feel a rush of heat. You look up. The other creatures have already gotten the fire started. You stand up and sigh. The one that helped you gives you what you take to be a sympathetic look. A few of the red demons come over with fish strung on a line and hang them on a stone rack over the fire. Right after, all but one go back to the pond. The one left behind pulls over a small, wooden stool, and sits near the fire, watching the fish cook.
