Some months had passed since Samir and Kianna had met back up, and their new found friendship was thriving.

All it seemed they really needed was a talk to sort everything out and it was like Kianna was never ignoring him in the first place.

He had learned so much about her, and was always interested in the things she liked and did. He knew that he was attracted to her but with the months of being her friend and seeing sides of her that he didn't know she had, his feelings seemed to have grown.

Samir didn't want any confusion to happen on his part so he did let her know, also adding that his newfound interest wouldn't cause a drift in their friendship.

At least he hoped not.

He was now waiting outside to pick her up from her hair appointment, that was supposed to be done 20 minutes ago.

Pretty 🤦🏾‍♂️🤞🏽
You still outside Samir?

Yea

hurry dat ass up lil girl
Wasting my gas and shit.

🙄 not to much, sir.

Samir closed the message thread, and scrolled through his phone, resting in his seat as he waited. He made sure to turn on his AC just the way she seemed to like.

From the corner of his eye, he saw her curvy figure quickly make its way out of the store. He watched her cutely squint her eyes and move her head both ways twice, before crossing the busy street.

A smile light her face once she opened his car door, "Hey, Samir!" She cheesed, waving at him "notice anything different?" She asked, dramatically running her hands through her hair and flipping it side to side.

Playing along a smile tugged at Samir's lips as he rubbed his chin and furrowed his brows together, "Mm, I don't see nothing but that big ass pimple on your chin."

Samir let out a laugh as Kianna's mouth dropped, "Yea see you playin, but if I get to talkin bout dat beard imma be wrong."

His laughing seized and a mug immediately was placed on his handsome face as he gave her a look. He knew he was a bit overdue for a cut, but he didn't think it looked too bad.

"Oh okay, it's silent." Kianna laughed, flipping down the rear view mirror to apply some of her Fenty lipgloss.

"Nah, but for real though ki, I like it, you look good."

Samir watched her for a bit admiring the way the curled, blonde colored hair looked against her glowing brown skin. This was nothing new for Samir. Once he had figured out that he actually liked Kianna, he would often find himself staring at her and simply taking her in before he would catch himself, hoping that she didn't see him.

He shook his head at his thoughts, clearing his mind, before turning his attention away from her and starting back up the car, the R&B that was playing now filling  the car as a comfortable silence rose between the pair.
