"Write one craft at a time."

When we write various stories together at the same time, most of the time, we will end up finishing nothing. It's because the load is beyond our capacity. Our minds will get divided on what to face first, then we will end up frustrated and confused. Picture out a kid carrying a pile of sacks full of rice on his shoulders. He cannot carry all at once, that's why he will drop down all the weight because of its heaviness. Give him a plastic on both hands with at least two kilos instead, and he'll get to his destination successfully—slowly but surely.

As much as possible, we want to carry all the loads at once. We want to finish several stories at the same time, thinking we could do those quickly and simultaneously. However, the problem is, we will get overwhelmed by those ongoing stories and other ideas in our head. Craft a piece one at a time, so to make sure it will be done on time, and there's no interchanging of concepts, characters, settings among different stories. If you have any idea in mind, jot it down first. Put your worries behind you. We are still productive even with one book. Pick one story to write at a single period. Focus on it until its completion. The lighter we carry, the faster we run.
