"Stop spreading hate."

Social media helps us, writers, in many ways. Through its different platforms, we are given the opportunity to know and meet co-writers, engage with our readers, promote our works, and find great opportunities for us to flourish. However, nowadays, I noticed that it is the channel for spreading negativity: bashing authors, writers quarreling with each other, exchanging hurtful words, passing rumors and fandoms stirring chaos. This is dreadful! What a pleasant feeling to write if we are in a peaceful community. What a beautiful sight if writers are helping each other to rise, instead of pulling down. What a calming mind if we witness that gossip is definitely ceased.

Love begins with ourselves. Take part in it. When you see someone who is in a mess, do not let gossip expand, creating more problems. Let it stop on your end. Whisper may be as sweet to our taste like a candy, but the aftermath is like a poison of a deadly snake to our body; for it always precedes commotion. The Bible reminds us, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Allow the goodness of God flows in you by your righteous speech and deeds. As writers, let us propagate love than hatred. Avoid the sting of envy. In a world full of cruelty, be a channel of God's peace and mercy.
