"Even if nobody appreciates your crafts, write still."Being valued as writers is what keeps us thriving. It is like music to our ears when our friends or readers tell us that our books are inspiring, well-written, unique, and other positive feedbacks that we receive. But what if we have no readers? Do we ever stop writing? The answer is no! Even popular authors started from scratch. We should shift our mindset to write then the readers will follow, and not the other way around. Several readers look for stories that they find comfortable with—minimal of errors perhaps, good story flow, compelling plot, and relatable characters. Nonetheless, we should serve it as a challenge to enhance our skills while waiting for those readers who will get to appreciate our works. Honestly, it was frustrating in the beginning. But always, let us set our eyes on our writing goals.
Like grass, even if unwatered, it absorbs nutrients from a morning dew. We should also be grateful for that few people who love our crafts right now. For sooner or later it will become a huge number. Keep on pursuing your passion and tell the world what you wanted to. In the book of Zechariah, it tells us, "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin." Write now and do not be dismayed. Continue even if nobody treasures you. The truth is, God is watching us from above and clapping His hands every time we step forward, when no one would. He bestowed us this talent for a purpose. And in His perfect time, you will see its sense.
