"Be consistent."

It is easy for us to start an activity, at any given time. However, the challenge is to endure the process until its accomplishment. The beginning is sometimes effortless, while the middle is really arduous. To overcome this, we need to set our eyes on our goals. Why are we writing? If you find the answer, then that would be your compass to reach your desired destination. Jot down your idea on a piece of paper or save in the notes section of your mobile phone or laptop, as soon as it conceives in your mind. Make it also a habit to write at least five to ten sentences per day. You would not notice that after a few days, you already have a chapter created. Do not keep your eyes looking at fellow writers who are faster than you; rather, focus on your progress. Discouragement and boredom can be found anywhere in your journey. Be sure not to stop over on those spots for too long.

In order to succeed, consistency is vital. Write little by little, every day. It is like a boy who gets to court a lady that he likes. He needs to persevere no matter what to win her heart. In writing, you need to be persistent as well. Slowly but surely, you can attain the victory of completing a book, then publishing it one day—by keeping the fire burning in your heart.
