Movie night. It was y/n's and Tee's favorite evening every week.
The two loved movies and couldn't get enough of them, so every Friday since they got together a year ago, they would watch a movie together.
Whether it was a horror, romance, or action movie, the two loved to sit together cuddled up on the couch, eating snacks and watching a select movie.
Every week, the two took turns deciding who got to choose the movie.
Today it was y/n who had chosen a movie.
In fact, they had spent over an hour at the small video store a few blocks from their small apartment trying to find the perfect movie.
Of course, the two could have resorted to various streaming services, but they both loved it classic.
They both found it much nicer to go to the video store, browse around and decide on a movie in the end.
"And what movie did you choose?" , Tee asked her again as he took the popcorn out of the microwave and filled it into a bowl.
At every movie night his favorite popcorn could not be missing.
"You're about to see," y/n repeated her answer for probably the tenth time.
Every time she chose a movie, Tee was incredibly impatient to wait until the dvd was in the dvdplayer and he could see what movie she had chosen.
"Will you at least tell me what genre?" Hopefully, the older looked at the younger.
But she only shook her head. She wouldn't tell him anything.
She opened the cupboard and pulled out some other snacks, since the popcorn probably wouldn't last too long, since Tee claimed most of the popcorn every movie night and y/n would have to be lucky to get any at all.
She reached for a bowl and filled the M&M's , which she had bought in the small supermarket on the way back from the video store to home.
"So, now we just have to make the living room cozy and then you'll see what movie I chose." She promised him and together they went into the adjoining living room.
Y/n had already made one or two arrangements for the evening this afternoon, so a few strings of lights had already found their place on the cabinets and walls, making the living room cozier.
Tee grabbed a few blankets that y/n had stashed in a closet of the living room and threw them on the couch before placing another piece of wood on the fireplace.
Outside it was raining and the wind was not exactly blowing quietly in the trees in front of the house.
It was the perfect weather to start a cozy movie night.
This weather was y/n's and Tee's favorite weather to watch movies.
"It's quite warm here..." y/n said as she put the snacks on the small living room table and then fanned herself.
"It's cozy, isn't it?" replied Tee, throwing herself onto the couch with the bowl of popcorn, causing a bit of popcorn to fly around the living room.
"You'll clean that up later, though " , the younger one clarified, thinking about the hem of the hoodie she'd stolen from Tee last week when they'd done a movie night at his place and had been freezing in her thin shirt.
"What are you doing?" Tee's eyes were on her as he stuffed a handful of popcorn into his mouth.
"I'm warm, so I take off your hoodie?" she asked him the counter question, but he quickly shook his head.
"Wait, no, don't take off my hoodie. I Love the way it looks on you. "
Y/n a slight blush rose in her cheeks and a slight tingling sensation formed in her abdominal area, which kept coming back despite their year-long relationship.
"You're so cute when you blush, babe." Tee said, making y/n blush even more.
She quickly averted her eyes and slid the DVD into the dvdplayer before sitting down on the sofa with Tee, who immediately wrapped his arms around y/n and gently hugged his girlfriend.
She enjoyed snuggling into her boyfriend's strong arms.
"Och c'mon. Not again!" Tee almost shouted when he saw which movie y/n had chosen again.
Because y/n's favorite movie, which the two had seen many times before, appeared on the TV.
Tee might soon be able to speak along with everything as well as y/n.
"You love that movie, don't you?" she replied with a sweet grin.
And she was absolutely right.
Tee loved the movie, but not because of the movie itself, but because he loved watching y/n watch her excitedly looking at the screen, her facial features changing at various scenes, and sympathizing.
