Fully loaded with a blanket under her arm, a picnic basket in her right hand and her shoes in her left, y/n struggled through the sand while trying to keep up with her friends.
By now it was late afternoon, almost evening, so most of the crowd on the beach had already emptied.
Today was not necessarily hot, but quite pleasant day, so that y/n and her friends had spontaneously decided to spend a little time on the beach and, according to Jade, no boys could be missing, so y/n's friend had invited them as well.
And y/n knew that one of them would be Trevor.
Her best friends Jade and Clara knew that she had liked Trevor since college time and had always raved about him, but had not yet managed to confess her feelings to him.
And since then, the two of them tried to invite Trevor again and again, so that y/n and he would get a little closer, so that the step with confessing feelings would happen more or less on its own.
"What do we need this much stuff for again?" , y/n asked more or less out of breath when they finally came to a stop next to their best friends at their regular spot.
The regular place of the three best friends was a bit off behind a big rock, so they were more or less isolated from other visitors, where they could spend time alone on the small beach and sea piece in peace.
"There are six of us," Clara replied, shrugging her shoulders, as the three of them set about spreading the blankets on the ground and setting up a parasol, which they probably wouldn't need for too much longer, since the sun wasn't really strong anymore and would slowly set in the next few hours anyway.
Without having to ask who the three other people would be, y/n actually already knew exactly who else had been invited.
Because it could only be Trevor and the two boyfriends of Carla and Jade. Alex and Lukas.
"For six people, we need quite a lot of space," Jade noted, after everything had been set up and the large seating area of blankets looked as if they were expecting thirty more people instead of three.
Carla just shrugged with a grin and took off her clothes, under which she wore her red bikini.
"Come on, what are you waiting for? We still need to take some sun rays after the long day at the office."
