How I feel about certain tropes(+more)(part 1?)

I rewrote the title a couple of times so yee

Also kinda inspired by Cinema Therapy (highly recommend)

Just to let you know, I have grown as a person, even though I did do some of these things, I was not aware and did not have enough information of things compared to now. So I did do some of these tropes when I was 17, and even though I'm 19 now, I learned and understand more now. ALRIGHT LET'S GET STARTED.

(Sometimes) Enemies to lovers. OK- LET ME EXPLAIN MYSELF this trop is ok. But like if it is executed right that it will be really good, but if it's done wrong, then it won't be as good (maybe terrible)

Player bad boy with a heart of gold. Ok, so listen, I hate this. I understand if you give him a good background story, but if it's bad, or he's just doing it for whatever then I'm gonna probably hate him, even if it's a fanfic.

Not like other girls- OK so I have done something like this before and I am disappointed in myself. Looking back on my old books, they weren't as good. If you write it good, then I might like it, but there are so much NOT LIKE OTHER GIRLS main characters and it's getting boring. I miss those outgoing, fun, excited main character girls (not manic pixie dream girls), like Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. Seriously, now we not just book character but also movie characters, are so bland, plain, and boring. Like we're supposed to root for them? Or like how they choose the wrong guys to like/date/marry?

Because he's good looking (and rich) OK EXAMPLES OF THESE 50 SHADES OF GREY, 365 DAYS, AFTER, KISSING BOOTH most guys are crappy and literally hurt und use the girl and the girls are like "nah Imma stay." AND I UNDERSTAND HOW IT'S NOT EASY TO LEAVE A BAD, TOXIC RELATIONSHIP, AND IT IS HARD TO LEAVE, AND LIKE WHEN THEY DO GET A CHANCE, THEY'RE LIKE "NOPE" I know I already said it and it's not easy to leave a toxic relationship, and that you would miss them, but the writers just make the characters just so bland like a brick wall.

Manic pixy dream girl (guys can be too). Idk how to explain it, but MPDG is literally exists just for the main character but looking it up is probably be a better way to understand since I have no good way to explain it without it sound confusing. (But if it's something like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and executed it good, then it works. The reason the girl was like that was to put on a façade or something like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind(kinds))

Born sexy yesterday (mostly girls, guys can be too) this is where a certain character is innocent and child like, but is an adult, or like not a child, but still childlike attributes, who is probably most likely attractive, and have a guy or someone protecting them almost all the time. From the world.

Love at first sight. DON'T GET ME WRONG- I do think the idea of it is cute, but after watching Cinema Therapy helped me see things in a different way. The thing about LAFS, it is cute, but it's like you don't know anything about the person, it's just mostly attraction towards the person since IT'S THE FIRST TIME SEEING THEM and it's just mostly lust(kinda) at first sight.

There are more too, but I can't think or remember more at the moment, but anyways, I hoped you enjoyed it. And let me know how else you feel about these tropes, or even other tropes I didn't mention

The video I got inspired by, and stuff I agreed on

Also watch their Tran to Busan video it's very good (yes it might be biased XD)
