There was meowing coming from the alley. The figure stopped and put a hand down to the small kitten. The kitten, a bit scared, lets a little hiss out.

"Shh, don't worry," the soothing voice says. "I won't hurt you." The person proceeds to give the kitten some food before taking it home.

Once they came home, the person gave the kitten a bath to clean off the dirt and get rid of the fleas and bugs.

It was dark, so the person placed the kitten next to them and fell asleep.

Moonbin POV

I woke up to see if the kitten was awake or asleep, but instead, across from me was a girl next to me in bed.

"AAHHH!" I screamed and kicked her off my bed. "WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?! A-and is that my hoodie?!" Her tail and ears twitched.

"Ok first of all," she says fixing a hoodie. "You take me in, feed me, and then proceed to kick me off the bed? What kind of person are you?"

"Are those even real?" I ask.

"Yes!" she answers. I hesitantly reach my hand out and touch her ears. Her tail and ears swayed and twitched uncontrollably.

"Why is your tail doing that?" I ask withdrawing my hand.

Her tail stops. "Sorry, it just feels nice that you're scratching my ears like that."

"And your name?" I ask.

"The collar you gave me," she answers turning her head. "Are you stupid or something, you're the one who gave me my name."

"What's your real name?" I ask.

"Ugh you ask a lot of questions," she shakes her head. "The thing is, I don't remember my real name."

"Also why are you wearing my hoodie?" I ask probably getting on Y/N's nerves.

"Hybrids like us," she starts, "when we are in human form, we're naked. So I woke up before you. I had to go and look for something to wear." She looks back at me. "Now are we just going to keep standing here, or can we eat?"

"yEaH," I voice crack. I coughed, "yeah we can go eat, lets go." The two of us walk to the kitchen and I prepare something to make. I made some instant ramen and placed a bowl infront of her and her tail swayed happily.

She took a bite and she smiled. "Mmm this is good! You should open a restaurant."

"Ok you had me in the first half," I chuckle shaking my head.

She laughed. "But I did mean it when I said it was good."

"Anyone else could make it and you would say the same thing," I say beginning to eat my ramen.

"Meh, you're not wrong," Y/N says, taking another bite.

Y/N and I began to get closer, and because she still was part cat, she was a bit playful and had high energy.

Your POV

Moonbin was at work again. I got bored a lot so I looked around the house and found a chessboard. I looked up how to play it, and now, I just played it by myself a lot when he was gone.

I cooked dinner and waited for Moonbin to come home. I heard the door unlock and open. I smiled and ran to the door.

"Moonbin you're home!" I hug him. "I made some dinner! And if you want, we can play some board games!"

"I had a bad day," he mumbles. "I don't feel like it."

"You want to talk about it?" I ask, my tail twitching. "Let me get you some food!"

"Can you be quiet!" he yells. I flinch at his sudden outburst. I take a step back. Had I been to pushy to not realize that he just wanted to be alone?

"Ok," I say lowly and leave him. I go to the room and open the window. I let the cool air pierce my face. It's been so long since I've been outside. I smile and stare at the stars. Maybe I should wait a few more days before I leave. I didn't even realize that I was crying until my tears dropped on my hand. I just wiped them.

Tonight, I decided to sleep on the couch. I didn't want Moonbin to be mad at me anymore so I'll just give him some space.

Moonbin POV

After some days past, I realized that Y/N didn't talk me that much anymore. By the time I arrived home, she was asleep on the couch.

Today, I arrived home earlier than usual. And I hoped to find Y/N doing something, but the place was empty. There was a chess game that was left unfinished, with a bowl of soup there. There was also papers on the desk. I grabbed it and looked at them.

Today he yelled at me. I didn't mean for him to get mad at me. I was just really lonely. It's boring when I'm home alone. I have no one to talk to, no one to play with. I decided to sleep on the couch for a while until he feels better.

But a part of my just want to avoid him. I think I don't ever want to hear him yell or scream again. At least not at me. But it scares me. It also scares me knowing I was a reason he was mad.

From now on, I will be more quiet so he doesn't get mad ^-^

-Y/N

It broke my heart a bit. I was being self-centered, and she just wanted to help me. The atmosphere in my house just felt cold and lonely now. I started thinking about it, and realized that Y/N was already doing a lot for me and I lashed out at her. Is this what it felt like before I had her in my life? I looked at another paper.

Date: ##.##.##

A part of me wants to just go. It's like we barely know each other. Yes I wanna solve our problem that day, but a part of me just want to run away.

Who was I kidding? I won't break my curse. But being a cat isn't all that bad. You just have those annoying kids who want to pull your tail and hurt you.

It's just sad though. I'm just slowly losing my memory and falling for someone who won't talk to me anymore. I'm starting to think some things aren't even real. Like if Moonbin, I think it's Moonbin, is even real. Like was he my past owner? Or just a figment of my imagination?

Or am I even real?

-Y/N?

I sighed and put the paper down and rubbed my face. Her memories are fading?

Just then, I heard the door open. It was Y/N.

"M-Moonbin?" she stutters. Hearing her voice was like music to my ears. I smiled. "It's Moonbin right?" I frowned.

"Y-yeah," I looked down. "Can we talk?"

"Is something wrong?" she asks sitting next to me.

I look at her. "I know I shouldn't, but I looked at your papers."

"My papers?" Y/N tilted her head. She looks at my hand and snatches them. "I- why would you go through my things? I respected your space."

"Can we talk though?" I ask not meeting her eyes. "I know it was wrong, but... that day, I was almost fired, and my girlfriend broke up with me. I just didn't mean to let it out on you." I look at her. "Can you forgive me?"

"I forgive you for yelling at me," she looks away, "but it'll take some time for me to forgive you for going through my things."

""Um," I awkwardly chuckled, "do you want to teach me how to play chess?"

That day, we spent more time together and I listened to her rant and vent. Having her with me, I didn't feel so alone anymore.

And I wanted her to stay by my side much longer. I want to help break her curse.
