N.Flying Dongsung- Late Again

Tap, tap, tap. 

You looked at the clock, you fingers tapping in a rhythm to the clock on your wall. You were waiting. When you weren't looking at the clock, you were looking at your phone. 

You looked at the time, to see if you had any texts or calls. 

Nothing. 

You let a sigh out. 

You unlocked your phone and texted your fiancée. 

Sungie 💛 

1:32 am 

Are you still coming over?
Love?

1:52 am 

Yes my dear, sorry that I'm late.
I'm almost there. I should be there soon ❤ 

Alright, I'll see you soon ❤

You let a long sigh out. He's late again. The food was getting cold. You started tapping the table again, restless. Then finally, the doorbell rang. You stood up, and made your way to the door, your feet dragging across the floor. You took a deep breath before unlocking it. You softly smiled, seeing Dongsung. 

"Hey baby," you said softly. 

"Hello my love," Dongsung leaned in and softly pecked your lips. "I'm sorry for being late again. My group and I lost track of time and ended up practicing longer than we thought. And I wanted to get some stuff for you too." 

"It's fine," you did you best to keep smiling, worried that he was slowly stopping to commit to the relationship. He smiled and kissed your head, handing a bouquet of flowers to you, closing the front door. 

You both walked to the table and sat down. 

"Sorry for making you wait again. And that I missed our anniversary," he let a sigh out, also sounding disappointed in himself. "I know I haven't been the best fiancée. And I wanna make up for that." Dongsung reached into his jacket pocket and took out tickets. "For your favorite group. I'm off on that day. And..." he reached into a bag and took out a plushie. "You wanted this too for a while. And thankfully it was on sale. And hopefully, if you let me, can I give you cuddles? I want to make you feel better." Dongsung hands the gift to you. 

You didn't know what to say. To be honest, you were sad and disappointed, but you were dating an idol after all, so it came with lots of pros and cons. You knew that if you guys didn't talk it out, or make it up, you both would get nowhere. And you knew that both of you wanted to make it work. And he was truly sorry. 

You softly nodded with a slight smile. "It's ok, I forgive you. How about we eat and after we can cuddle?" 

His eyes sparkled and nodded. 

And so you two had room temperature dinner together, and after you both cleaned up the table and put the dishes away, you guys went to our room and changed into your sleepwear and got on the bed together, his arms around you. 

"I love you Y/N," he kissed your cheek. 

"I love you too Dongsung," you smiled, relaxing in his arms. 

Eventually, in the peaceful night, you both fell asleep.
