chapter 11 Go to ten thousand beast city

My plan is to leave for city of beast in some days but the matter of baiqing accepting parker is not settled. lyca is a very good choice for lara and is one striped, after much thinking lara accepted him seeing how considerate he is to lara. I discussed this matter with lara and she agreed to follow me to beast city and to baiqing to accept parker as soon as possible. 
We went to baiqing together as I don't have much problem moving the next day. we knock on  her door, it was parker who opened the door.
Lara-''we have something to talk to bai.'' we didn't ask for his permission and directly entered. parker was tolerating with our presence as we are females.
Doliz-''parker you can go to hunt, we accompany her.''
Parkar-''I don't need to hunt, we already have meat.''
Doliz-''then you can bring some fruits.'' parker was reluctant to leave baiqing. today he finally don't need to go hunt and can accompany her through whole day. it was like vacation.
Doliz-'' Don't you want to go to city of beast quickly?'' finally he got my hint and choose to leave. lara start the conversation-''when are you going to accept him?'' baiqing was flushed with that thought as she was also considering it but it was not easy because of novel setting and her character.
Baiqing-''I want to go back home and didn't want to mate.''
Doliz-''then you are playing with his feelings.''
Baiqing-''No, we are just friends and not in that relation.''
Lara-''Listen bai, in this world here is no concept of friendship but family. if you are not a family then don't play with his feeling. I guess parker had made his feeling clear for you.''
Doliz-'' you think that it is as simple as friendship. you know what you are being a freeloader here. if you only take but gave nothing back then you are wrong here. it's been a month already and I am already a mother, lara also accepted lyca even though she came after you.''
Baiqing was ashamed and speechless as she looked down the ground with watery eyes. lara looked at my direction with astonishment. what she was afraid to say to mc(bai) was told by me without taking another breath because she wanted to have good relation with bai at least for now. the respect for doliz in lara eyed instantly bloom and she became determine to hold her thigh strongly in hope that she will definitly get her own purpose done with doliz's help, if doliz also know the plotline.
Lara-''what is the guarantee that we will go back?'' bai looked at her direction with watery eyes.
Lara-'' we have been here for so long after all.'' baiqing was able to go back in the end but don't know if lara is aware of that. I put my hand on her shoulder lightly tapping, indicating to stop saying anymore.
Doliz-''you might not know that here in beast world also has danger everywhere. let's not talk about you liking parker or not. if there is attack of rootless or abandoned beast or you being kidnapped by feral, he has no obligation to protect you and even if he do have great attachment to you, he alone himself can't protect you and will die. your ignorance will be cause of doom of people around you.''
Baiqing-''This can't be..'' she was terrified just thinking about it.
Doliz-''As long as you are here, you have to follow rules here or else you will be eliminated. we ignored your behavior as you are youngest among us but you didn't grow at all. with your behavior many female's power here will be threatened and you and anyone closest to you will be targeted. remember your thought against to polyandry are taboo here. don't let it slip from your tongue.'' saying that I pulled lara with me and left as parker will be here anytime and will blame us of baiqing's upset mood. on the way back-
Lara-''Don't you think it's a little too much.''I looked at her hesitant look.
Doliz-''even if it's too much but it is necessary. we need to teach her or else she became a white lotus. ''
Lara-'' you know chinese idioms.''
Doliz-''No, but I had read many chinese novel translated in english.''
Lara-''Oh I see.'' we part way in middle. after reaching home I embrace harvey from behind who just return from his doctor duty of checking a female.
Harvey-''you are back.''
Doliz-''hmm''
Harvey-''you are upset.''
Doliz-''no, upset are my enemy. I am bored.''
Harvey-''then what do you want eat, I will cook for you. you are still recuperating so rest more okay.''
Doliz-''okay I am going to see my babies. curtis is soon going to incubate them and I will not be able to play with them then.''
Harvey-''baby. you can't play with them yet.''
Doliz-''who said that. it is fun to watch them. they will be very handsome when they will come out of shell, I can't wait for that day..aaah why is their incubation period so long.''curtis also return at this moment.
Curtis-''you are right. 55 days are very long .I am also very reluctant(to be away from doliz).''we both sigh .
It has been two days from our lecturing to baiqing and I heard from lara that she finally mated parker. but surprising thing is that his mark is on her forearm not heart. I guess she wasn't ready or timing didn't match but with our(me and lara) lecturing she did it as her feelings are still in haze. In original setting, she mated him at least one and half month after giving birth to curtis eggs. a month of snake pregnancy and half month after her menstruation.
I sent harvey to inform parker that we will depart for beast city tomorrow. I told curtis to incubate egg in leopard village and when snakelet hatch, he will bring them to beast city to hibernate alongside river without anyone knowledge.
Curtis-''why can't I follow you there and have to came back secretly?'' he was afraid of my safety and don't want to be away from me.
Doliz-''because you will scar everyone away there and with your tetra strength I will be targeted. I also don't want to do this but you know that I need more powerful mate for family. I promise that next year, we will leave there okay.''
With my assurance he barely agreed and I was another step closer to my plan. the next day we left the camel hamp valley without much belonging along with lara and baiqing's family.
Lara-' curtis isn't coming?''
Doliz''he will come after my eggs hatches.''
Lara-''oh,okay.''lara didn't take that seriously although. it seems fishy with curtis character but anyway it's not her business.
