Chapter 34 strip gaining

Curtis attention was soon captured by the presence of shuu. He turns his tail to hit him but fortunately shuu Dodge in time. I was still in the embrace of Curtis.
Dz-" don't Curtis. He is my mate and also a part of family."
Cz-" don't worry. I won't kill him mate but he has to be strong if he wants to be in family. He has to pass my test." Thank God I am with Curtis right now or else he won't even had listened to my calls and started a bloody battle with shuu like he had done with Parker in the original, despite baiqing's calling.
They started fighting badly. At first shuu was able to Dodge but soon he can't even do that as attack speed of Curtis increase. It seems like a battle of dignity and death. The wailing of shuu in the tight coil of Curtis tail was so miserable and pitiful.
Dz-" Curtis quickly release him. He is suffocating." With my urge he somehow did release shuu.
Cz-" not bad he can last this long infront of me which is record breaking since I gained my fourth strip. He has some potential." Pitiful shuu can't even response. He is in very bad state but I know he has just some minor injuries with this fight, it's nothing serious but why can't he response. What happened to him. Did Curtis pull some strings behind the bar or my eyes deceive me.
Dz-" what did you do to him Curtis. Why is he not responding. Quickly release me, I have to check." Curtis release me from his embrace and I ran to shuu. It frightened me to see shuu in such state. It's all blame to me. I checked his breathing which was very rapid as well as his pulse. I am very confuse right now.
Cz-" he broke through!" I looked in Curtis eyeballs in wonder.
WOW I can't utter anything as the words were stuck in my throat. It was a great surprise. Before I had time to be happy my happiness was washed away by his next words.
Cz-" but at this rate, he won't be able to make it. he is very young for that."
Dz-" what do you mean. Make it clear."
Cz-" I mean, he forcefully broke through and his body very much lack the energy to handle his state. His energy is draining very quickly. He won't be able to handle it much longer and will die soon."
Dz-" is there any way to save him. If I had known this would happen, I won't have let you two fight. I am the one to blame for this state of his."
Cz-" don't worry mate. Transparent crystal's energy can stabilize him but we don't need to waste precious crystals on him.You still have me. Let me take you to see our eggs." How mean Curtis.
Dz-" no. You want him dead but I don't. He is my mate and I won't let him die before me. My first priority is to save him. No crystal can be compared to the life of anyone especially that anyone is my mate. and before being my mate, he is a son. No one has the right to hurt a mother heart. I have crystals at home. We have to quickly take him home."
We were about to do so that a miraculous voice of most needed person which could be hope for shuu's treatment interrupted us and bought us another amazing surprise of the day.
Harvey-" no need to rush, I have them here."
Dz-" Harvey how are you here!"
Harvey-" we can talk about that before I treat shuu."
He picked a transparent energy crystal from the pouch which was in his grip.
He put the crystal in his own mouth.
I wanted to argue with Harvey but he soon hold shuu's jaw with his slander and pale fingers and opened his mouth.
Yes he fed him mouth to mouth. I can't describe it properly as I was standing with Curtis and my angle was not correct to see the scene in between. Shuu has now an extra strip of red on his left cheek which looks quite unbalanced but still handsome.
I shifted my gaze from shuu to Harvey but noticed that he has a pale golden strip on his left cheek. Wow what a surprise. Is this a new discovery that if a guy feed another guy orally while breakthrough then he can also gain a strip. Is it that simple.

Harvey-" his pulse are stable now. I think this much amount of crystal will work.'
Dz-" thank God. It looks like a blessing in disguise. Two of my mates gain a strip today. It is something to be celebrated."
Harvey-" no no how can that be. I have never heard of someone breaking through to level five. It's impossible for monsoon to gain extra strip." Where does it concern with monsoon.
Dz-" I am not taking about him. I am taking about you." Looks like he doesn't realise it. The life is really a joke.
Cz-" you also have a strip idiot." Good Curtis. Your word kills be a little gentle.
Harvey-" I also bought through!" There was a look of surprise with an idiotic smile on his face. Too bad I don't have my smartphone or I would have taken a shot of this scene. This kind of facial expression is so unnatural and unscientific.
Dz-" ahm Harvey, why do you feed him like that?"
Harvey-" him energy was already very low. So I myself fed him to conserve the energy."
Dz-" but you don't have to do that yourself. I am his mate. I can feed him. You should have given the crystal to me." He is blushing like a tomato right now.
Harvey-" how can I let you do that. I am a Healer and it's my duty to treat the patience."
Dz-" but you don't have to force yourself just because of your Healer status, or you think I am too silly and useless. You don't trust me."

Dz-" I just what? Or is it you don't like me. You like shuu more than me." It was a complete blast on Harvey. Even Curtis was bewildered. Believe me,I just said it on a whim. Even I don't know how I utter such sentences without thinking which makes me think, could there be gay and lesbian relationship in beast world setting.
Harvey-" NOT AT ALL. The only one in my heart is you. There is no place for others. You are my everything. You meant life to me." He looked so freaked out. If you saw this scene, you would think that I am some kind of villain. I know yes I am a villain but not in my family, not in the life of my love one. The drama is already dragged to this length, it would be a shame to stop it yet.
