Chapter 32 insidious main character

I finally found my Winston till dusk. I was very happy for all the running oh sorry sorry flying till now. All my hard work worth it. He was on a morning hunt right now. I mean he was alone right now. I flew up to him.

He found a giant shadow above him and turn his head in wary in search for any potential threat but could only see a giant female figured bug which suddenly turned into a humanoid figure. 

He was very surprised with this phenomenon. The most surprising or we can say the most shocking thing was that it was a female bug . No..no... It looks exactly his mate which was none other than me.

Without thinking further I jumped down. It didn't occur to me that I am not his mate now. I mean I don't bear his mark with this bug body and when I did realise, it was too late. Oh damn it I am going to fall. My wings won't be able to save me with my body weight at this juncture by reducing the pressure to minimize the damage. On no there is no surgeon in this beast world. Who is going to plaster my broken limbs, no wings, no whole of my endoskeleton of bug. On no all of my haemoglobin, no heamocynin is going to bleed and make this land , this soil , this air bluish.

I closed my eyes to await for upcoming pain as a countdown from ten to one start in my mind.

The countdown had already ended but the pain didn't come. Is it painless death but I know that it couldn't be possible . Never heard of painless death on falling. Even break up after falling in love is so hard and unbreathable that some people choose to suicide.

I opened my eyes slowly one after another and found myself in arms of Winston. My fear for being hurt had gone to the point of numbness that I didn't even realise when he caught me. My whole body is numb.

Winston-" are you alright female?" This is expected as this body is really not his mate's, I mean this is really not my body. But why would he saved me.

Doliz-" I am okay but why did you saved me?"

Winston-" why? Because you are a female and any male would do the same if they were to be in my place. More the reason for you to look like her. Are you her sister or any other blood relative." Why is he wracking his brain unnecessarily. But I also make an excuse quickly.

Doliz-" who are you talking about?" I asked innocently.

Winston-" my mate. You look like her. Her name is doliz."

Doliz-" you know her. You know where she is. I am looking for her for so long and I thought, I would never be able to see her again."

Winston-" what is your relation to my mate?"

Doliz-" I am her sister. For some reason we are identical."

Winston-" Identical?"

Doliz-" yes as cub of same litter who looks same."

Winston-" oh I see. . So what are you doing here?" It was more of an inquiry than a question. What are you doing Winston.

Doliz-" of course, I am searching for my sister."

Winston-" I mean what were you doing in the sky?" I got starstruck there. how could I answer it. obviously he saw my bug form. It's not good to lie but he won't believe me if I said that I am his mate doliz herself. 

Doliz-" you won't believe me if I told you my identity."

Winston-" why you can be anyone but not my mate." Stupid Winston I am your only mate. Huff leave it be.

Doliz-" I am a bug."

Winston-" no you are a female." Puff don't make me laugh with your not so funny outdated jokes.
