chapter 4 journey to the sheep village

Curtis came back with some fruit seems like pear shortly after I finish bathing, well I like pear. he took me in his embrace and start caressing my hair and cheek while I was eating.
Doliz-''it would be great if we had seasoning like chili powder or at least salt.''
Curtis-''chili?''
Doliz-''yes it is red and very irritating but small amount sprinkled as powder taste very good.''
Curtis-''I don't know much about that but sea is five day distance from here where merman tribe live. most tribes exchange salt there but sheep village is just half a day distance away, we can quickly exchange salt there. maybe we can even find chili there if they eat it too.''
Doliz-''why don't I think about it. we can get grain there.'' deciding our needs we left for sheep village. with curtis extraordinary speed it take them at most five hour to reach there which was late afternoon. when we got there we saw many sheep-man working on fields. they were terrified to see curtis. we reach a small stall which was bigger then any other in line .
Curtis-'' I want all your rice and wild grass.'' putting a green emerald on wooden bench he ordered. the shopkeeper was trembling with fear but when his gaze fell upon emerald, His eyes popped out. he became excited looking at it. I took the emerald back before this matter get too big. curtis was perplexed from my hasty action as the sheep beast-man was also confused and disappointed.
Doliz-''Are you out of your mind to waste this emerald on wild grass which they use as feed for birds so that they won't eat rice in field. these herbivorous mainly graze grass and their female eat rice or it to be sold to other tribe or cities females. we can get grain cheaply. why make commotion like that beside I don't eat rice much so don't buy it.''
Curtis get her point and took the green emerald back. this time he give transparent crystal to buy all of their grain reserve. although green emerald is very hard to hunt and most female took them to maintain their youth for ten year but a transparent crystal is also something a herbivorous can't afford in his entire lifetime. what wild grass worth in their eyes, it is enough to buy all grain reserved stored by them to be sold at once but it is still not enough so the sheep-man said-''our reserved wild grass is not enough for your crystal's worth so the next batch of wild grass will be given when it fully mature.''
Doliz-''I want to have a long term negotiation, every time you grow wild grass I want it all. one crystal would be enough to buy a year worth wild grass reserve of whole village, right?'' the sheep-man was dazed and said-'' female the wild grass taste is unpalatable.''
Doliz-''you don't need to worry about that anyway you won't loss anything and it's my business, how I manage it.''
the sheep-man didn't talk anymore, seeing blackline on curtis forehead, he was frightened so to ease the atmosphere I kissed him on lips. I just wanted to give him a light pack but he hold my head on place making it more deep and breathless. I was out of breath so I opened my mouth but he took this opportunity as an invitation to put in his salivating fork starting a tug war between our tongue. I can swear his tongue is so sweet. it is a pity that it has to end. 
I start tapping on his chest. Seeing my resistance he let me go. I start to pant to catch my breath when he let go, a thin wire of our mixed saliva was formed hanging between our lips. liking our intimacy he licked his lips with that breathtaking tongue with satisfaction.
the sheep-man was dumbfounded with my taking the initiative to kiss curtis and assume that I was with him willingly .
Doliz''I want your village to not alarm any city or large tribe of our tribe cause I don't want my lovely mate to be harmed.'' the sheep-man was very confused and asked-'' female, didn't he abduct you forcefully?''
Doliz-''No, I willingly mated him. Instead it was me who persuade him to be my mate''
Sheep-man-''but he is a feral.'' curtis was very angry with his remark. I thought, If this idiotic sheep-man don't want to live anymore.
Doliz-''that's why I like him. he is loyal and reliable and mostly strongest male. who don't like such a partner.'' I deliberately said this sentence loudly to let most sheep-man to hear it. Without anymore time wasting, we took our two big grain sack and left to healer hut. curtis was afraid of my bad health as he has no experience about female caring in his legacy and I also want to search for spices. 
In the hut a sheep-men which I assume healer arranging his medicine seeing movement behind he turn to face us. he was not scared with curtis but shift his gaze on me and asked-''what is wrong with you female? are you feeling unwell.''
Doliz-''I just want to have a check up.'' he checked my temperature and took my hand to take pulse. -curtis was very annoyed but restrained himself with my gaze.
Healer-''you are very healthy'' with that curtis was very relived and radiating spring breeze.
Healer-''congratulation you are pregnant. you have to take good care of baby. although it is just one day old pregnancy but precaution still needed to be taken.'' I was dumbfounded.
Doliz-''are you sure? I mean I just mated him last night how can I be pregnant so early?''
Healer-''don't worry. we herbivorous male don't have good sense of smell but with your mild pulse and my years of medical experience, I can assure that you are pregnant but it is hard to say now how many are there or a female cub.''
Curtis-''we snake-man have strong tendency of reproduction.'' but this is way too fast right? it take me some time to digest the shocking news after all it's my first pregnancy. after some time my motherly love wake up as I caressed my belly just thinking that it will be swelled and bumpy in future .I asked healer some necessary question for pregnancy and also some spices and seasoning which he describe as medicine. hopefully I get ginger, turmeric, garlic and chili.
surprisingly the healer is also tribe patriarch so we also bought a year worth of salt with another transparent crystal. I appeal to not alarm other tribe and cities of our presence as we don't want to be disturbed for mating with other males unwillingly. the tribe healer/patriarch promised to warn his tribe-man to keep our appearance secret and we left there the next day as it was too dark and unsafe to travel at night.
Curtis alone don't have much problem but with his pregnant mate how can he take the risk, so he stayed.
