Chapter 29 the guardians of nature

Without knowing the property of unknown substance one couldn't act rashly. What if there would be radioactive atoms. Looking at the greenery of this area the possibility of radioactive atom is law but it's better to be extra cautious. I ordered workers to collect the source of the smell and don't touch anything else.
Our first priority is sulphur. If possible I would like to collect all of it.
My major is not chemistry but I am not a noob. I have always been curious to prohibit dangerous things and this curiosity lead me to inquire about it online. I may not be professional but I am knowledgeable enough to use sources to my advantage.
Now a new mission start which is called clean volcano mission. Bug did start making preparation for carrier to transport these big sulphur stone to store not only that but also those other metallic stones god know what they are. It could be confirmed after careful study. Half of the bug army already greased the glue of glue berries to fruits and vegetables for storage. Other watery vegetables and lettuce are left to sundry to vaporize extra moist which could lead to be a good medium for bacterial growth. While other half processed coffee and cocoa which take a lot of time, at least a week. From fermentation to grinding and finally pack in air tight wooden boxes. We hardly left any manpower for now.
After completing these major tasks they start mining of sulphur and other stones. For ten consecutive days the mining work continue. We are neither being lazy nor the stones amount is a lot but we are careful. It's all manual work and the smell affect bugs a lot. Some worker even got sick. A lot of time and health loss.
It's been eighteenth day in my bug form. Coco powder is done processing along with coffee. Canned fruits and vegetables are also done. We didn't store all of it near beast city's vicinity. Just enough to make do for a year. Leftover products were hidden behind tiger tribe along with a lot of sulphur and metallic stones, leaving some for experiment in underground chamber near beast city. With this winter and next summer, my estimate is for six months but just in case in presence of Lara and baiqing or that glutton pearl; I don't want to wrong myself so it's better to keep a year rashion. We also make pickle. I feel sorry for myself for not being able to make sauces and jam as bug are afraid of fire even I don't have energy to burn fire. I don't even have fingers. I have so many free worker why would I not suck them up for my leisure. I spent these days boringly eating white Apple. The taste is same despite look. I didn't discover anything else because I couldn't. The area further the volcano is unsuitable for bug. I sent my bugs from east to west but nothing interesting was found. At this time Winston would be returning back after exchanging salt.

Doliz-" what is that giant thing?" I saw a very big beast which looks like a big brown stone with many red fungus growing on it. There are many of such stones in group. It looks like man made mud stone. Maybe someone was playing there before..' queen this is a herd of woolly mammoth.'
Doliz-" what did you say? I think I heard wrong."..' queen they are woolly mammoth.'
Doliz-" don't play with me. No way the stones are woolly mammoth." I denied very clearly focusing my eyeballs to see clearly. And you know what; my eyes were about to fall seeing them a little closely. They were really mammoth. Living mammoth resting on ground. I can't believe this. How can they be real they extinct millions of years ago. Original plot didn't revailed their existence. My first impressions wad also same but my mind strongly denied it. Why didn't they described in original even once..' queen these are the guardian of world's species balance. Females of beast man have very little fertility thus they were never been their ( mammoth) target but fertility and growth rate of colossal is very strong thus these gods guardian fight them and eliminate to the point only limited number of colossal could exist. Without their protection the world would already had been chaotic. Not only beast man but also our titan bug family is also grateful to them.'
Doliz-" if they are so great then why don't they kill rootless beasts. Scorpions number is increasing rapidly in inferno city of desert."..' that's true but the harm caused by scorpion is nothing compared to colossals. Population of the rootless scorpions is problem for not only mammoths but also whole beast community. So without anyone speaking many strong beast man went there to kill in the name of power gaining or experience.'
Doliz-" it does make sense." But there are so many rootless scorpions that even a penta striped Curtis had difficulty getting out of there from a whole army of only strip-less infant scorpions. Forget it. No time to waste.
We flew for three more consecutive days to reach our destination. I don't know where Winston would be but we are here. I left my workers to look for him making four group of two in four direction. Till then let's rest a bit.
