[Sonic's pov]
i closed my eyes and opened them to see that we were somewhere else.
i looked up at the hooded hedgehog, and he took off his hood.
it was the hedgehog that lost his cat a few weeks ago...
"are you hurt?" he asked.
i shook my head and smiled at him. "thanks for the save!" i said to him and he smiles back.
"what's your name?" he asked as he starts to stroke my quills.
[Shadow's pov]
"Sonic!" he happily said.
i chuckled and stopped stroking his quills.
"the name's Shadow." i said with a smile. "it's nice to meet you, Sonic."
for some reason...everytime Im around him, i keep smiling. i didn't really know why...
"mind if i ask why that guy was bothering you?"i asked.
i know Mephiles does the same thing with his victims but he seems to have some kind of relationship with Sonic...
"u-uhm...i-i'd rather not tell you.." he stuttered as he gives a nervous smile.
i nodded. i understand that he doesn't want to tell.
"i better get going!" he said.
he turned around and walked home.
"alright, goodbye, my friend" i said then i chaos controlled myself back at home.
