"GET THE HELL OUT", GET THE HELL OUT NOW." My mom yelled, jumping us out of our sleep.

"Come on man, you know I didn't mean to hit you, but you owe me money." I heard a man yell back at her.

Jade looked at me confused. I stepped out of my bed and walked towards the living room to get a better listen to their conversation.

"Charles, I said give me by Tuesday, I'll have your money then. " My mom said in a whispering tone.

"Time is ticking Betty, and if i dont have my money by Tuesday, It's going to be a major problem." The man said walking out and slamming the front door.

I was stuck in that spot. I forgot I was visible enough for my mom to see me.

"So you enjoy being in my damn business huh?" she spat at me catching me off guard.

"No, No ma'am, I just came this way to make some bacon, I mean some cereal." I said in a shaking tone. For some reason, I was more nervous than usual. The Red eyes and the look she had on her face was a scene I never witnessed before.

"LIAR, You know darn well, It aint no food in that kitchen ." she yelled at me."Now Gabby, you got two seconds to get out of my face or else." she said in a warning tone.

I turned around so fast and went back into my room. I walked right into a laughing Jade.

"Oh my gosh, you got caught?" she laughed bent over holding her stomach. " You were stuttering and all."

"Shut up, It's not funny, I was real life scared for a second." I said, smiling at her. I really was scared shitless , started making up food ideas and crap. I seriously couldn't recognize that lady.

" Girl I thought you were done for , but enough of all that, It's Saturday. What's your plans for today?" Jade asked me while sitting up in the bed.

" Well today I have a Therapy Session, My dad signed me up for it last month." My dad has been trying to get me an intake appointment for a while now, but every place was booked up. I was finally able to get an appointment date.

" Well that's good for you Gabby. This should be good for you." She said in a matter of fact tone, but I don't think I could get into all of that. I salute you though," she continued. " Therapy is just not for me. "What would talking to a therapist do for me?"

" Honestly I felt the same way at first, but I'm willing to try at this point." I feel like I need that professional help and I have to start somewhere." I said back to her.

"Yea you might be right. I think I'm going to go check on Tyler." she said blushing.

" Aww snaps, he must be growing on you. Let me find out you are finally serious about bull." It's been over three years and this girl still hasn't told Tyler she loved him.

" Hush, honestly Gabby, I don't even know if I know what love is. I've been through so much growing up and I'm used to the people I love, up and leaving me. I'm just expecting the same thing from Tyler at this point." she expressed to me.

"Tyler is not like everyone else though Jade. You can't base your relationship over your past problems you encountered. That's not fair on his end."

" I hear you, but anyways, thanks for letting me crash here, but ima head out." She said, grabbing her things.

This is what she does when she doesn't want to get into too many details about her feelings. She drops the conversation quickly every time.
