I laid there staring around the room admiring everything I saw. Ms Linda had her guest room so organized and clean. She had labels on everything and some things were even color coded. She had labels for where your shoes go, your clothes, jackets and more. I laughed at the label that read snacks and treats that was located next to the bed.

It's been almost three weeks since I've been staying here and I loved it. Ms Linda really made me feel welcomed and wanted here. Every Night when I get home from work I have a hot home cooked meal waiting in the microwave for me. Sometimes I feel like this is too good to be true and that something will eventually snatch my peace away, but I'm trying to get the negative thoughts out of my mind and learn to replace it with more positivity. Sometimes I wonder If my mom even cares about my whereabouts or even thinks about me for that matter, but then again I already knew the answer to that. I started praying more and even started to work on my self confidence.

Every night after I get out of the shower I stand in this full length mirror that's inside the guest room. I stand there admiring my body and all my curves and rolls. I repeat over and over again

" I'm beautiful the way I am, I'm worthy, I'm going to be somebody."

The more I say those words to myself, the more I notice how much my mood has been changing. I finally got into the flow of working and keeping my grades up which is a great relief. Im completely done with my credit recovery classes so my credits won't be a hold up when it's time to graduate. My mind has been so focused on getting myself together that I didn't even get a chance to reach out to Jade to see how she's been doing. The last time I remembered, she was still very upset with me and ignored my calls the day the situation happened.

Tyler has been calling and texting me, but I havent really had a chance to respond back to him. I picked up my phone and dialed Jades number and listened to it ring three times before she picked up.

" What do you want, Gabby?" She asked me as soon as she picked up.

" Hey best frienndd." I sang through the phone, trying to lighten up the mood.

" Gabby. Why are you calling me?" She asked me, sounding annoyed.

" Umm, maybe because you're still my best friend that I love so much. Plus you didn't give me a chance to explain anything.

She sat there quietly on the other end, so I continued to talk.

" Jade, this is stupid. Can you please come over so that we could talk?

" Just text me the address." she said before hanging up.

I took a big inhale and exhaled before sending her a text. I texted her Ms Linda's address before I got up and got my things ready to take a shower. I grabbed my robe and walked into the bathroom. Ms Linda has two sinks with a mirror on each side. The sink on the right held my rag, body wash and my toothbrush and toothpaste. She had everything neatly set out for me on a shelf located on the wall. I took off my things and stepped into the shower.

As I set the temperature of the water to my likings, I looked up and admired the detachable shower head. It was fancy like the ones I saw on the TV commercials. It was stainless steel and held a button on it that gave you an option to change the water pressure to different modes. I took the shower head down and started to play with the different levels. I aimed the shower head towards my stomach and giggled at the tickling feeling it gave me. My thoughts instantly went to Tyler and the feeling he gave me the day he kissed me. I thought about the funny feeling I felt in my stomach and also the feeling I felt in between my legs.
