Chapter 55 - Stay

--- Melody's pov ---

"Do you think Alex is ok?" I asked Ashton who was staring at the elevator doors. When he didn't answer I turned my attention to Calum who was flicking his eyes between the two of us.

"Mels just eat your McDonalds please" Ashton answered before looking at his phone. I just nodded before opening the bag in my hands. Two portions of large fries, chicken nuggets and other things I love. Some of the food was for Alex. Was that why he is in a mood with me? Becuase I brought a lot of food?

"So Mikaela got a boyfriend"

"Not happening in a life time. Plus I thought you were happy with Lucy"

"I am happy with Lucy... it's just shes becoming annoying and stealing my things and not returning them. She stole socks. Who steal socks?"

"Lucy obviously. Maybe this is her way of saying she has a foot fetish"

Calum then glared at Luke who was chuckling to himself. The tension in the air was already thick between me and Ashton. So Calum and Luke adding to it probably wasn't going to be good.

"Lucy does not have a foot fetish"

"And how would you know?"

Calum looked like he wanted to punch Luke due to what he was suggesting. Me, Sierra and Mikaela stood to the side and watched them threaten and poke fun at each other.

"Shouldn't someone stop them?" Mikaela questioned as the fight between the two started. It wasn't a full on punching fight. It was a slapping fight. I think they were both aware that they couldn't fist fight in a elevator with a pregnant women.

"Just let them tire each other out. It won't last for long... hopefully" Sierra answered as we just watched the two. Well Sierra and Mikaela were watching. I squeezed past Mikaela to stand next to Ashton. I wanted to know what's going on with Ashton and I knew how too.

"Chip?" I asked while holding the box for him. Ashton looked up from his phone before shaking his head.

"Its your food. You, Milly and Leon need to eat"

"Its not just my food and I'm sure Alex wouldn't mind if you took a couple of chips" I answered as Ashton just chuckled before smiling at me. He then took a couple from the box. He could never say no to stealing my food.

"I don't know what happened Ashton and you won't tell me but it's not your fault" I whispered as Ashton just nodded before stealing another chip.

"Its not about Alex. It still hasn't hit me that we have it... that we all have it"

I just nodded before leaning against him. God how far up are we going?

"But hes still out there Ashton"

"That's a technicality in the scheme of things. But at least you can focus on the things coming up. I think if I remember correctly it's two weddings, a birthday and a tour?"

A tour? What tour? Oh! That tour. The tour he didn't tell me about till now.

"How could you forget?"

"Well maybe someone should have told me earlier" I argued before chuckling at the shocked look on his face.

"Did I not tell you yesturday?" He asked as i just shook my head. He told me how much he loves me, he told me how much he loves Milly and Leon and how much he loves my family. But I guess he forgot to mention the tour.

"Oh shit. I am so sorry"

"Its ok Ashton. I forgot to leave food for Niall incase he got hungry"

We both just chuckled at the image of Niall tearing the house apart looking for food. I then pulled him into a hug. Well a hug as best as I could.
